No, I wouldn't consider that a form of birth control. I've always heard "he dribbles before he shoots."

I know a few families that relied on the "pull out method"... one such family has 10 kids. While I never used that method I did manage to become pregnant TWICE while on the pill, and I took it every single day at the same time every day, used nothing that would deminish it's effectivenes. The truth is that the pill is NOT 100% effective and pregnancies WILL occur to some people if they don't use protection as well as spermacide.

The withdrawal method is a very unreliable method because sperm cells are also released (albeit in a small amount) prior to ejaculation. Apart from that, the anxiety associated with this method lessens the sense of sexual satisfaction.
The Pill is not 100% effective either.

My sister got pregnant with that method, now I have a sweet nephew. Luckily her and her husband could deal with it. On the other hand, my 17 yr old friend in high school got pregnant that way and she only knew the guy a week. She ended up dropping out of school and not going to college. So, I would say... condoms. :)

Well why in the world would he pull out if she was on the pill. Sounds kinda fishy to me. Maybe she forgot her pills on purpose. Ever heard of condoms, and they arent always a sure bet. Anyways, if you waited until you could afford a child, you would never have one. They should be thankful.

The pull out method is only slightly more effective than not doing anything at all. The thing is, before a man actually ejaculates, some semen comes out in what is referred to as "pre-***". It contains plenty of semen to get you pregnant, as evidenced by your friend.

Pulling out has never worked for anyone else, did they think they were 'special'?
Semen starts coming out before orgasm and pregnancy happens.
If she was on the pill, it is unusual, but no method other than abstention or sterilization is 100% effective.

The only way that the pullout method works is if there is no precum. If there is no precum then there is a big problem. You can get pregnant from it. And yes you can be on the pill and get pregnant also.

lmao! don't think for one second the pull out method on the pill or whatever is going to help prevent you from getting pregnant! you know if you get ejaculation on your vagina the sperm can still enter inside of you and you can become pregnant. besides their is stuff called precum. they guy usually has a small amount of ejaculant coming out during stimulation. anyway that to cann get you preggers. my advise if you don't want any possbalilty of getting pregnant stay away from male ejaculant. lol
