me and my fiancee have been trying to conceive and we took a test last night and it come up as pregnant which is a good thing but it is playing on my mind that this test is wrong is this possible cause they say that they are over 99% percent accurate

Okay. I have taken three tests. The ann said negitive. But the last one i took, it took about 5 minutes to show results and the others took like 2. My last period was on October second. I have missed two periods. The only things that have changer are that; my brests are getting bigger, aroung the nipple it is getting darker. And I have had some weird stomach pains. And about two days ago i bleed a little bit and then it stopped. And there hasen't been any more since. I need some opinion and real answers please. And if you need to ask me a question, ask and i will respond back here. So you can see what i said.

My doctor tells me to drink 6-10 ounces every hour! I think it's too much! I would be in the bathroom all day! HELP!

Hi all

l am not walking as much as i should due to time constraints and was thinking of getting an excercise bike instead. Are these safe to use while 21wks pregnant? And does it have the same health benefits as walking does?

I am currently on birth control, but I wasn't always. I had sex with a boyfriend for over two years unprotected, we weren't trying to get pregnant we were just being stupid. BUT I still never got pregnant. Dos this mean I can't have kids or could there be some other explanation?

So when the heart rate is around 160 its a girl...Thats the old wives tale....How many of you has this worked for??? and How many of you had a boy with a heart rate of this high??? Im excited now lol we have 4 boys, i would LOVE a daughter :) but of course my biggest wish is for a healthy baby, be a girl or a boy. Im just curious now :)

Okay, my sister had a period for Oct. but not November and Thursday the 30th she started spotting...and now her boobs are sore...she found out today that she was pregnant...she is scared that the spotting means she could lose the baby? It will be a few weeks b/4 she can get to an Ob/gyn...do any of you know if it's okay to spot some>? Have any of you had this problem...it's a real darkish red brownish color...?

My husband and I have always had a good sex life... it was even good during the first several weeks of pregnancy... So why now, 13 weeks into it, is my skin so sensitive I can bearly stand him to touch it? I get in the mood, but then just the lightest touch strikes a nerve & I can hardly stand it. (and not in a good way) This was not an issue during my first pregnancy, so I'm puzzled. Can anyone suggest anything to help the situation?

I had my first prenatal today, at 11 weeks pregnant :) My dr. didnt try to find the heartbeat, but he did an ultrasound and i seen the little heart beating away it was AWESOME :)!!!!! The baby was already sucking on its hands :) Is a heartbeat of 150-160 normal or is that kinda high? 160? i always thought that was high....My other two boys had heartbeats of about 145? Thanks :)!!!

Iam 5 months pregnant and last night my back needed to crack so I stretched like I wasnt pregnant like you know when you lay on your back and put your leg to the other side and stretch the lower part of your back .... but after I did that, it hurt my belly button for awhile so I stop... did hurt I hurt my baby ? or what did hurt me ?
Iam concern for my baby :-( how else can I strecth my bakc ?

because the baby was on her belly,such as the spine,etc. He did mention that the babies nuchal fold measured 6mm when it should hae been more like 4-5mm.This is a measurement on the back of the neck they do to predict the chances of down syndrome. I'm very worried. He said they will do another ultrasound in about 6 weeks.All other test have come out normal. I just hate this waiting, has any one else ever dealt with this.

The spotting started on Mon, Nov 27 so I went to the ER room. They did 2 vaginal u/s and found nothing. They told me it was either because it was too early or that I had a m/c. However, I've had no pain whatsoever and it's been very light spotting. The next day I went to my OB and she did another u/s and said that I was in the process of a m/c and that I would start bleeding heavily. This has yet to happen. The next day I had my first bout with morning sickness so I called another OB and he saw me. He did an u/s and saw the baby along with a heartbeat. I went to the first OB today and she said again she couldn't see the baby and that the sac had grown but was not in the round shape it was supposed to be. She also said that I was hemorrhaging and that she still felt like I was miscarrying. My next appointment is next week to see how things are and to see if she will do a D&C. I'm against this right now. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and what i should do?

I'm having a planed c-section (have no choice) and i went to the hospital yesterday cause i was having contractions and dilating. the doctor had the nurses stop my contractions wanting me to wait one more week. i'm already 37 weeks almost 38. and not even 24 hours later i'm experiencing them again. Is this normal?

I know this 22 year old and she said she always wanted to be a mom, so she went to the sperm bank and recieved two artificial inseminations. She doesn't have a partner in her life.

I didn't go into it with her, but why at 22 would someone do this? She has plenty of time to find a partner to be a father (or even a mother, if she is gay) to her child. Maybe she wants to be a single mother, but is that fair to her future child. The only thing I could come up with is that she has problems with men, or she is a lesbian. (I know I sound like a jerk!)

I felt kind of sad for her because she is going into motherhood alone.

Why would a 22 year old get artificial inseminated?

I just recently got pregnant about 2.5 months and my interest in sex has been very low. I guess it dosen't help to be sick most days. But my husband is very offended by this he thinks I am not interested in him. With our first child I was way more interested but with this one I have no drive at all. Any suggestions???
Is this a normal occurence???

I'm 8 months pregnant and I have been smoking 2 - 4 cigarettes a day my whole pregnancy. Will my baby be as effected as it would if I smoked 2 packs a day throughout my whole pregnancy?
