There are certain types of stretches you can do while you are pregnant, so you should contact your OBGYN or a trainer at a gym nearby. It is very healthy for your baby for you to exercise while pregnant and it will help you when it comes time to deliver too. So please contact your doctor or a trainer, please. Good Luck with your baby.

HI, im in the same boat! im 25 weeks, and omg i would love to strech or pop my lower back it is killing me! I dont think you hurt the baby if anything you can just tear ligiments very easily as they are so loose because everything is streching and growing

I have been told not to let any one do that but a chiropractor but i cant afford that. so right now i just have to suffer.

Sometimes bending over like i am going to touch my toes helps and will pop the lower back but doesnt hurt baby.
If you are sleeping on your back that could be a cause as well, the weight of the uterous lays on a lot of nerves and blood vessels, try sleeping on your side with lots of pillows for support!

If anything hurts on you, go see your doctor. Things are not as simple to your body when you are pregnant. Your body is not the same. When I was pregnant, I ran to the doctor for the simpliest things. In the end, it was to my benefit that I was so cautious. I was going into labor at 32 weeks but fortunately I was able to carry my baby for the full term of 40 weeks. Go see your doctor

It is okay for short periods of time to sleep on your back; however, it is not recommended for extended periods of time due to the fact that a major blood vessel that supplies the baby will be "pinched" off. Always try to lay on your right or left side. I was told that the left is the best by my obstetrician.

I think you and baby should fine. You probably stretch your stomach muscle, which during pregnancy are stretching and pulling anyway. I guess you just pulled a stomach muscle.
