99% is very accurate (obviously) but there is a chance for error. That being said, It is much more common to get a false negative than a false psitive in that 1% error ratio.

I would say it's a pretty safe bet that you will soon be a daddy, but if it still bothers you take another test. The possibility of2 false answers are almost nil.

If the result came up positive then it is more than likely positive. Faulty tests usually always turn up with a negative. If you or your partner feel unsure about this go to the doctor and ask for a blood test. That is 100% accurate.

the 99 percent accuracy refers to receiving a negative (not pregnant) when you ARE pregnant. That just means the the test didn't detect the pregnancy hormone. If it came back positive, it detected the hormone, so... You'll be having a baby!
Congrats!

The test results are probably accurate, but if in doubt, she should go to a doctor & have another test done there.

It is very rare to have a "false positive" unless your fiancee was taking fertility meds that could interfere with the test. (Clomid)

Sounds like you're gonna be a Dad! Congrats!

she 's pregnant- I know there not really accurate but usually the pocitive sign it accurate it's the negative that can be pretty innacurate due to testing to soon or not having enuf hormone

It is possible to get a false neggative. Try a second test, if it is possitive also....call a doctor and make an appointment.

I hope she is, congrats!!!!

Sounds to me like you two are definetly expecting...but if you still feel like you need to be re-assured just take the digital pregnancy test..

there's always a marginal room for error. I would take the test into her doctor and have him test her for pregnancy.
