Here is some TMI for you. You will get very constipated. It sucks!! Drinking water helps a lot!! Maybe not as much as your doc says though. The what to expect book says not to walk by water without taking a drink. It was a good rule of thumb for me. Good luck!!

I have never heard that lots of water helps. Prenatal vitamins and natural foods are important. Just make sure you are not dehydrated. That would be a bad thing. Women in Africa have been having babies for thusands of years without all the new medical B.S.

You don't have to drink that much if you don't want to but you should try to follow your doctors advice as much as you can. Only your doctor can tell you what is right for your situation.

8 glasses of water a day at least.
You do NOT want to be constipated. It is NOT a fun thing and once it happens it's hard to regulate yourself again.
