When the baby drops into the pelvic cavity it automatically puts a lot more pressure on all the areas down there. This is completely normal. Call your ob and let him or her know, but unless you are feeling contractions, you're most likely not going into labor. You will be feeling a lot of pulling, cramping, and pushing sensations in that area as the baby drops further down in preparation for birth. Also, contrary to what was said before, the 9 times 4 thing doesn't really count, since there are more than 4 weeks in most months (hence the reason drs count pregnancy by weeks). You could go early or make it the full forty weeks or more....only the baby knows right now :) Best of luck to you!

Well if I were you I would go to labor & delivery they tell you anytime you fell presure (ie the need to poop) that is a signal you could give birth within moments so go! Most women do not find out they are in labor that way, but some do, this is uasually a signal you need to push, refrain from pushing & Go to the hospital! Good Luck

I have heard of women who have not been able to walk correctly because baby was 'in position'. I am sure baby has decended into it's ready position.

I would start to worry if you feel intense cramping combined with the feeling you need to poop... that is how I delieved my baby (unexpectly) at home!

Just enjoy this last time before baby comes, your body is preparing for an AMAZING experience.

I've got the pressure from H*** going on at 32 weeks. At my OB appt today, I asked about it. He said that you can have a UTI with pressure, but generally it is just the positioning of the baby at the time.

Totally uncomfortable, isn't it?

Scientific explanation says that, assuming you don't go beyond 36 weeks (9x4= 36), you've dropped and the baby is getting ready to come. Let your doc know for safety--whether this is your first baby or one of many.

At 35 weeks, are not you going on your OB weekly? You must point out it at your subsequent appt! Even greater, you commonly must name them now and inform them what is going on. Two weeks is many years to be having what sounds plenty like exertions!

Baby is probably dropping, putting pressure on your internal organs.

i would call your doctor. for me, this was the sign that I was in labor. is this feeling constant, or does it come and go? If it is intermittent, time it and see if it occurs at regular intervals.
