Does anyone know about the Healthy Start program through Medicade. I just wanted to know how long after you mail in your paperwork does it take for them to let you know if you are approved or not.

Yeah. I just applied for mine too. It took about 2 weeks to hear back from them, but as soon as you hear back from them, either with a letter in the mail or a phone call telling you that you are approved then the rest of the process is very very fast. I know its kinda scary not having insurence while you're waiting to hear back from them. Good luck!

It usually takes about 30 to 40 days. Mine took about a month to get approved.

medicade are ASSHOLES!
my brother has prostectic limbs because he suffered from nijacocksemia when he was younger, and they cost about $10,000
my parents had to go through such a long processes just to finally get them to cover them.
