stress can throw you into labor. This is not always good, but if you are 38 weeks then your baby should be ok. stop stressing and just worrie about you and your baby. Screw the guy for right now. you guys are more important. You could be starting labor, but don't go to the hospital unless....
1. your water breaks
2. your contractons are close, and painfull
3. you have any really big concernes about the health of your unborn.

A mother will always get a gut feeling if they think something is wrong. you will probably know when you are ready. congrats, and i wish i was 38 weeks. I am only 32.

Yes you could be in labour or you could be in false labour. Particularly if your baby is facing slightly posterior. When this happens labour can often start as back pain.
If it is labour you should have quite a while to wait so just relax try and take it easy and do what makes you feel best. When the pains start to become intense go to the hospital or where ever you are going to have your baby. If it is false labour the pain should start to disappear particularly if you move around, maybe try going for a bit of a walk.
Don't worry that anything is setting off your labout, 38 weeks is a fine time for the baby to come, it is not considered early and many women never make it past 38 weeks.
Good luck!

Sorry to hear about the break up. Back pain is very normal at this stage of pregnancy fist of all. The baby lowering is a sign of labor coming and stress can trigger it big time. Are you having any contractions? If you are having pains like u hav never had before keep an eye on how far apart they are and how long they last. If there steady I suggest calling ur labor and deliver and ask if u should go in. Also if you notice what looks like brown discharge get to the hospital.Thats one of the best signs of labor. Good luck

You'll know if you're in labor! When the pain gets to be every half an hour start paying attention to the time in between. Usually once they are 5-7 mins apart be on the way to the hospital! I was in labor for 4 days but in the end when they were 4-5 mins apart they came quicker and harder. After that you can go fast so be in the hospital.Don't worry about your break-up worry about you and that baby! Good luck!

I've had 3 children and it does sound like you are in the stages of early labour. Stress can also "bring" on labour as well. Don't be fooled by everything you read telling you that your water will break and you will have contractions every 5-10 minutes. Some women feel labour all in their backs, like a cramping, tightening feeling. Call your labour and delivery dept. at the hospital and they might tell you to come in to check if you are dilating.

Best of luck to you and your new addition!!

U could be in labor but the only way to really tell is to get checked. I had bad back labor and I thought I was just having period like cramps and ended up going in about 8 hours after they started and when I got to the hospital I found out I was mistaken, they were contractions and that was my 3rd time being pregnant. Every time is different. But the stress could be the cause of it too. That could cause you to be in labor. But to be sure you should go in and get checked.

yes you could be getting ready for labour..it could be hours or days. youcan either take some paracetamol and put your feet up till your waters break/ youstart having very regular strong contractions or check with a midwife if youre concerned. labours a long slow process though..mine was getting on for 40 hours from my water breaking so stay home as long as you feel comfortable to..good luck and congratulations.

ingredient a million: each party has to discover volunteers to stand as applicants. no longer adequate volunteers - no longer adequate applicants. ingredient 2: status in a hopeless ward, whether acceptable for all of the nationwide events, isn't continually sensible, and, needless to say, expenses money. status skill putting up a deposit, and publishing election fabric. ingredient 3: In 2007 i do no longer think of any party is fielding applicants in better than 60% of all of the council seats up for election. there's a ward close to me that's unquestionably solidly Tory. some years in the past the Tories could no longer hit upon a candidate. Nor ought to the different party different than Labour. So he gained the seat with the aid of default. the guy became right into a often happening previous staunch socialist and it became into particularly ironic that he spend 4 years representing a extreme Tory rural ward. The Tories made confident they submit a candidate 4 years later. P.S. once you are going to quote Shakespeare you may a minimum of comprehend it. "Wherefore" fairly skill "why are you", no longer "the place are you". Juliet became into asking why Romeo had to be from a kinfolk with whom hers had a feud.

>.< You could walk around having menstral cramping/dull low backache for awhile. You'll know if it progressively gets worse and you can set a clock according to your pain that you're in labor. You might be in early labor though so keep doing what you're doing and good luck with your baby =)
