In can make things more complicated, but by no means does it make your sterile.

Actually having an ovarian cyst is normal. Every woman gets a cyst/cysts during ovultation. Most can't tell unless the don't rupture one month and continue to grow and/or then rupture. Most cysts mean that your ovaries are actually working. Not to be alarmed by this. Its totally normal. I went through the same thing. I was worried I couldn't get pregnant. I am now 12 weeks. Hope this helps!

No, an ovarian cyst does not decrease your chances of having children but you should make an appointment with your doctor to check it out. He will probably send you to get an ultrasound just to make sure there are no complications.
If you would like to read more about it and the different types of cysts that exist, I recommend the following link

It might make it a little harder to conceive but it is possible. I have an ovarian cyst and i'm 12 weeks pregnant, and I have a 2 year old. I have to have my cyst removed after the delivery of my baby which could prevent me from having more but it is possible. Ask a doctor for advice if you are having trouble conceiving or if you have concerns.

Ovarian cyst and it shouldnt. Ive had many and have had 3 babies, one being born while having the cyst. The doc should be giving you something for it,surgery if its real bad and if its real small it should just go away and cause no problems.

It wont decrease ur chances. There are things doctors can do tho to shrink it. I had 1 in 2004 and I just had a healthy baby boy 9 weeks ago. Good luck

I have poly-cystic ovarian syndrome. which means that I get many cysts on my ovaries at once. And I have two beautiful boys. It might take some time at first, but don't loose faith. actually i found that if you DON"T try to have a baby.... you will. Let me explain, my first was a surprise, then we tried again for two years and i had two miscarriages. so we decided that one was enough....two weeks later i was pregnant. just keep trying, it's fun!!

No not normally, but you should have it checked periodically to see if it changes in size. A cyst can be removed without much problem normally. If however it grows enough to completely envelope an ovary it may require it's removal. This still should allow you to become pregnant.

I had an ovarian cyst, but my sister has never been involved with my ovaries. Anyway, it did not affect my pregnancy.

Is a sis anything like a cyst? Or is it short for sister?

Probably. Depending on the size. It could grow larger due to hormone fluctuations while pregnant as well. Ask your gyno for the risk factors involved.
