I am going on a road trip at 28 weeks pregnant. Does anyone have any tips on staying comfy in the car? The trip is about 18hrs driving. We are planning on doing this in 2 days. Thanks

For women who've been pregnant before. I know that all pregnancies are not the same, and I already know all of the typical pregnancies BUT I would like a list of the symptoms you've personally expirienced very early on in your pregnancy and how soon before/at the time of/right after your missed period they were.

Oh, another question....did anyone have "morning" sickness at night? Late late at night? During the middle of the day? IE any other time other than in the morning?

I've been trying to get him to lift weights, but alls he wants to do is color and then he starts crying when I force hime to lift weights. Also, I have been giving him protein shakes and he just seems to be getting chubby, not muscular. Any tips?

I went to the Doctor today thinking I was Nearly 8 weeks Prego (from lmp), when the exam was performed the heart beat could not be heard, and I was told that from the looks of things I am only about 6 weeks...This Scares me because I am afraid of something being wrong!! (I had a Miscarriage last year) Now I am having some cramping, which I have not experienced throught the pregnancy...Should I be Concerned!??

Im pregnant with my first child to my boyfriend who i love soo much, he means the world to me. But he has a 5 yr. old daughter from a previous relationship. Her mom calls here all the time saying how the 5yr old is crying and worring tht her father is going to forget about her once the new baby comes. The reason she feels like this is because her mother had already had another baby to a new relationship, in which she is in right now. Well neway She calls here and says how the 5 yr. old is crying and then her dad gets all upset and kinda takes it out on me in a way! He always says "you'll always be my only baby" to his daughter. That kinda makes me feel like he is going to leave my child out in the wind because of the way his daughter is feeling I dont want to sound like im being "greedy" n "immature" about this situation. Im just worried that becuase of the way shes acting.. he's ganna feel bad and blow my kid outta the water! He got mad today when i say"she'll just have to get over it

I went to a new gynecologist and when I told the nurse-midwife who was examining me that my husband and I did not want to have children, she immediately started telling me that not wanting children was "unnatural" and that I WOULD change my mind before I turned 30. I said that my husband and I have genetic conditions that we would prefer NOT to pass on and quite frankly have NEVER liked children under the age of 3 or 4. I'm also planning on going to school for automotive service management once my husband finishes his bachelor's degree. Its pretty hard to look under the hood of a car with pregnant belly! This nurse (who was Catholic) also had the audacity to tell me that I didn't belong in "the boys club" and should stay home and do my "duty".
My husband and I are conservative Southern Baptists and we found this VERY inappropriate. A doctor in the practice apologized for this but we feel that their should be some type of ethical rules against this. This is a VERY personal decision!

I ask because I am having cramps and that icky feeling in my stomach like I normally do when I am coming on my period but it is just not heavy and the clots are not big. (Sorry if it was TMI= to much info). I read that you can be pregnant and still bleed but having tissue still being released shouldn't be happening. Right? I am not having any symptoms of pregancy other than it was late by 3 days. I am worried and plan to go to the doctor tomorrow morning but wanted to know what you think... Thanks.

I have been a college student for almost 5 years. First I graduated with a bachelors in music and now I am in nursing school. My husband and I have been together for 3 years and we would love to have a baby someday. The question is...when? We certainly are not rich right now, but we could figure out a way to finance things. I eventually want to go into women's health care and perhaps become a midwife. Thus, you can see I have a passion for childbearing, etc. How do I reconcile the fact that part of me wants to start a family now, even though part of me figures I should wait until everything is "perfect" emotionally, physically, financially, school-wise, geographically, etc.! why cant our toddler grandaughter sleep , she still gets up at the same time at night as she did when she was been bottle fed is it just a comfort thing , i never had this with my children .

if u had ur cervix froze for something not to sure. can u still get pregant??? they did it to my aunt last month and she had sex with my uncle and she hasnt started her period and she took a pt test last week and it came out negative... i told her that i didnt know to much about this stuff, but she goes to the doctor on wensday and im going with her should she wait to take another test or just ask her doctor??? thanks for all ur answers and ur help
