Okay so one thing that every woman fears are...strech marks! I am 14 weeks pregnant and in good shape... i dont have any strech marks right now... but i was wondering when did you start getting strech marks? I know they say they are inherited, which my family has them... but still curious

okay this may sound stupid but i really am curious.... is it okay for the guy to be on top while having sex if i am 14 weeks pregnant? lol. Last night while me and my husband were "interacting" he was on top, it felt like he was 'smushing" the baby... is my baby protected or he is getting smushed too? lol thanks

I am on Ordinary Maternity leave just now on statuatory maternity pay. Should I take Additional Maternity Leave or just resign, I have no intention at all of returning to my previous job. Is there any financial benefit from staying on Additional Maternity leave or does it make no difference if I just resign and be a stay at home mum. I am aware that Additional Maternity leave is unpaid.

i'm moving in with a man who has two daughters, ages 8 and 3. They won't be there full time, but only a couple of nights per week. Both of these little girls rarely say "please" and "thank-you" or "excuse me" or anything else along those lines. They whine a lot and say "I want this" or "give me that"...it gets annoying pretty quickly... i need some constructive ideas on how to get these girls to be more polite in my home that i will be sharing with their daddy. Anything would be helpful.

I put up questions about domestic discipline this weekend and this morning. To some of you I am no stranger as you answered my questions in strong disagreements. My husband is unaware of my posting of these questions. If he found out, he would not allow me to use this site for awhile and give me a good lecture. I feel I have upset so many people and am wondering, should my husband be told? Do I need a lecture over what I have asked this weekend and morning? Any help appreciated, keep in mind I'm in Aus. My girlfriend and I work together. 3 months ago she went back home to the UK for a month. About 2 weeks after she got back she found out she was pregnant, she didn't tell me and distanced herself from me, although various things she said started to add up. I asked her on several occasions why she was going to to a women's clinic, she said she just needed to have tests done (smear, etc). I even asked if she had an abortion, she burst out laughing and said no way. She has kept getting more and more distant and we are basically no longer together.
Last week while she was on holidays she asked me to log into her email to forward something to another colleague – based on my state of mind I decided to have a look, and it didn’t take long to confirm that she had an abortion.
So what do I do know that I have found out by abusing her privacy? Also I’m not sure if the baby was mine or from something that happened in the UK. I really need to know

i have 2 friends who are teen parents and does not have a large amount of money...thier baby is i think 50 days old?? im not sure...and i dont know what to get thier baby....i dont want to get cloths since i dont know baby sizes....last time i visited i gave the baby a doll that made a sound. [a crab doll that clacks yeahhh cool!]
i want to get them something useful but im also getting short on cash since it is the xmas season and all...i want to get them a gift too but i dont know what to get them...i was hoping someone can suggest a "family" type of gift...where everyone benefits from one very special gift....any ideas..??

Every night, I call my girlfriend (or she calls me) and we talk, but I also tell her a bedtime story to help her sleep. =)

We're both 16

We've only been doing this for about a week (the bedtime stories) but Im already out of ideas. If anyone has suggestions, let me know? Iinks to stories or summaries would be great.

I had a c-section a while ago and there's still a lot of weight to lose. In the meantime, it's been far too long to still wear maternity... (no way I'm shopping in a mat store when I'm not pregnant, just fat) Any normal pants I could wear would either rest under the fat, creating a bulge out the front-- and worse, out the sides. That, or they sit higher (like belly button) and press in the middle creating twice the bulges. So far all I can think is those fold over gaucho pants that actually cover the whole stomach (no bulges!!!!!) But now its cold out, hard to find those in pants (rather than cupris) and those I did find are thin and freezing... surely I'm not the only one who's ever dealt with this! Help!!!

I'm living with my mother at this time and when my daughter,7 years old, comes over from her mothers house she sleeps in my bed. She used to sleep with my mother because my bed was too small, up until i got my bigger bed. Then i read an article where someone says it was bad, but in this situation the father would leave the mothers bed and go in and sleep with the daughter(which is a bit odd). This is basically because of lack of space in my situation. I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. What do you think? Oh, and no "Get out of your moms house" comments. I'm not an idiot.

i had my last period on sept 17th. i did 2 home pregnancy tests on nov 1st and both were negative. i took 4 tests this weekend(just to be sure) and all were positive! my clothes are tighter,breasts are tender etc so i wonder how far along i am in my pregnancy. my periods have always been irregular. i am going to my GP this week and i don't want to look like an idiot!
