I had a c-section a while ago and there's still a lot of weight to lose. In the meantime, it's been far too long to still wear maternity... (no way I'm shopping in a mat store when I'm not pregnant, just fat) Any normal pants I could wear would either rest under the fat, creating a bulge out the front-- and worse, out the sides. That, or they sit higher (like belly button) and press in the middle creating twice the bulges. So far all I can think is those fold over gaucho pants that actually cover the whole stomach (no bulges!!!!!) But now its cold out, hard to find those in pants (rather than cupris) and those I did find are thin and freezing... surely I'm not the only one who's ever dealt with this! Help!!!

I don't know how big you are, but I love the Venzia jeans in the midrise. They are low enough that it keeps the bulge under the waist in control, and high enough that it doesn't spill over the top either.

I guess any midrise would work. Just try them on, and make sure the button is over the center of the "bulge"

Good Luck

I had a c-section 19 months ago and I had the same problem.I wore athletic pants alot because they do not make your fat bulge and are very comfy.I bought jeans in a size bigger then I was because it also helped eliminate the bulge-not that I liked buying the bigger size:(
I am 27 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and am having another c-section this February so I will have to go through the same thing all over again.I love being pregnant because now my tummy looks cute with the baby bulge-not looking forward to the fat bulge after I have my son though:(

I went to Burlington Coat Factory, in the baby section they had a support wrap for post partum, it kept those unsightly rolls contained until I started to lose the pear shape. As an added bonus it helped with back pain and the uterine contractions!

I'm going through the same thing right now. I found that Lee Jeans fit nice. I usually wear the Lee jeans with a long short.
