okay this may sound stupid but i really am curious.... is it okay for the guy to be on top while having sex if i am 14 weeks pregnant? lol. Last night while me and my husband were "interacting" he was on top, it felt like he was 'smushing" the baby... is my baby protected or he is getting smushed too? lol thanks

i have heard it is not very safe to have the man on top cause he would be smushing the baby it is better to find outher ways to interact

Your baby is very protected and it is definately OK to have sex that way until it is uncomforable to you. At any point though if your doctor says to obstain from sex then PLEASE obey! If you are starting to dilate to early the semon can cause this process to speed up. Otherwise enjoy! For us we ended up having sex doggy style at the end cause there was just to much baby! :0) But what ever is comfortable for you is OK!

I would suggest trying new positions now. The baby is getting big enough to put pressure on your spine so you shouldn't be laying on your back for long. Otherwise as long as your DH isn't putting all his weight on you the baby is protected.

If baby feels "smushed" you should probably change positions!

14 weeks only? It's okay tummy isn't that hard yet and besides the fetus is very well secured against bumpy rides!!! But still be cautious if if you feel so much pressure of your hubby's weight then try sideways...it's great.
