I live in Florida first of all. I have a 3 wk old baby. I was seeing her father about 3-4 months before I got pregnant. When we met I explained to him that I didn't think I could ever give him children as I was told by specialists that I could not have anymore children. I tried for years with my xhusband and it never happend. So I got pregnant and my boyfriend slowly withdrew from me. He suggested abortion and got really nasty a few times, even wishing me and his child dead. To make a long story short I went through the entire pregnancy alone, drove myself to the hospital and went through over 40 hrs of labor alone! Once she was born I texted his cousin that his child was here, the room# and hospital so he could come see her if he wanted. But of course he never showed up so my baby has my last name, I didn't even put her fathers name on any paperwork at all. Then about 2 wks later he he leaves a voicemail on my cell, "i'm coming to see the baby"... finally he shows up 4 days later.

He is 6'2" white, straight red hair no dimples, hazel eyes. I am black, 5'9", african american type hair, a little passed my shoulders, no dimples and brown eyes. Also, I am have been told that even if a black and white couple have a baby, the baby could still be very dark or very light. Is that true?

I know genetics are hard to gage, but I was wondering if anyone knew characteristics our baby would most likely have (skin color, eye color, hair color). I know some people are really good on the genetics topic, I unfortunately am not. Just wondering.

My friend took a hpt and it was positive. 2 days later she started bleeding so she went to the ER. They did a blood test, urine test, and a Ultrasound and all confirmed she was pregnant. She blead for about a week and said it was just like a normal period, with normal cramps and a few very small blod clots, which is usually normal. Its been about a month and she just moved back from florida and took 2 more hpt. One last night and one this morning, and both came back negative. She is still having the pregnancy symptoms and all that but the test were negative. Is it possible that she could have miscarried without all the pain that usually comes along with it?

Over a year ago the mother of my 2 son's decided that she did not want to me a mother anymore. She moved far away leaving me as sole care provider for our 3 and 4 year old sons. She recently passed away. She named my youngest son, would not have been my choice. Would I be a bad person if I legally changed his name to my preference?

After walking from the bus stop to my apt (10 mins) I made it home. I felt ok. shortly afterwards i started to feel sick and dizzy and i broke out into a clod sweat. (i was drenched) Before the walk i had apple pies from mcdonalds and was wondering if it could have been that.

I say that you have to ovulate before you have a period. She says the period comes first then you ovulate. I was told that the egg wasn't fertilized and that is what causes the bleeding. Can anyone tell me what comes first?
