No you're not selfish. This might sound like a stupid question but have you tried fertility drugs? The only other options (that I am aware of) are finding a surrogate mother (but that is VERY expensive), invitro or adoption. Speak with your OB/GYN about your options. Good luck.

No, your not selfish about wanting to have your own child, this is special and most woman hope for this. Did you try using an ovulation device kit that you can buy over-the-counter? I would ask your doctor about a good brand to buy. This should tell you when you do ovulate. Try not to have intercourse other than several times when you are ovulating for a while. Try having your husband take warm or cool showers, not hot. I have heard that hot water can reduce sperm count.

No you are not selfish for wanting your own kid, it is natural, he has a kid already and i'm sure u love his kid but having a child together is something you can only experience by YOU actually having HIS child..ya know? it's the combination of the two of you making one little person ;-) BUT as for the other question...you should see a doctor, you may be infertile, and if so...well i don't know what to tell you, and if not, then they may do that one thing...where they take ur egg out and they put his sperm together then they put the egg back in you, i may be totally wrong but i've heard about it, good luck to both of u

Its part of being married and a woman to want your own child. One way to kind of keep an eye on things is to try a free ovulation website like www.cyclespage.com which tracks your periods and predicts when you should be ovulating. Using that, you can keep trying the natural way.
If that doesn't work, try seeing your regular doctor and ask if there's anything they can recommend besides trying envitro.

I don't think it's wrong to want a child, but perfectly normal and natural. If you can afford/have insurance, I'd start by talking with my Ob/Gyn. My sister has the same problem conceiving and it is due to one hormone that is slightly high. She simply takes a pill to suppress it until she becomes pregnant. She only tried it once, but it worked like a charm. I don't know that that is your problem, but you really should talk to your doctor. You may not need to resort to en vitro fertilization.

It's every womans right to want to have a baby and experience the whole package.
You shouldn't feel selfish.
But should also be greatful for what you have.
As for not falling pregnant yet, I would say, just go and get some tests done. Find out what's wrong.
I hope everything works out for you. =]

You could be a foster parent. Sometimes that can lead into adoption, and that doesn't cost as much as other adoptions. Do a search on yahoo or google and type in foster parents, it will bring up many sites you can view.

Why the heck would you think that would be selfish? You might not need envitro. Many things could get his count up. Diet, exercise etc. Have him see a Dr.

You are definately not selfish!!! I would suggest fertility drugs, or to stop trying, becuase when you stop worrying about it, thats when it will happen. My friend tryed to get pregnant for 3 years straight until she kinda gave up, and guess what happened?? They ended up pregnant! GOod luck!
