My friend took a hpt and it was positive. 2 days later she started bleeding so she went to the ER. They did a blood test, urine test, and a Ultrasound and all confirmed she was pregnant. She blead for about a week and said it was just like a normal period, with normal cramps and a few very small blod clots, which is usually normal. Its been about a month and she just moved back from florida and took 2 more hpt. One last night and one this morning, and both came back negative. She is still having the pregnancy symptoms and all that but the test were negative. Is it possible that she could have miscarried without all the pain that usually comes along with it?

A very early miscarriage can feel like a period. She probably had a miscarriage. Later on is when they are excruciatingly painful.

she could have miscarried but it is usually really pain ful i suggest her go get checked out because light bleeding is normal in early pregnancy but when you have cramps and clots thats when its risky

It is possible that she miscarried because when I miscarried I had the sympton afterward as well. and you will continue having them until your body passes the baby or until the doc suggests otherwise.

yes, it sounds like this is what happened. if she is still having symptoms, she really needs to get to an OB/GYN as she may have had an incomplete abortion. another possibility is that she may still be pregnant, as the hcg pregancy test becomes inaccurate after a certain time frame. either way, she really needs to go to a doc!

Has she been getting prenatal care? Since she had earlier complications (bleeding) she should have been seeing her OBGYN regularly.

It could be that the tests were expired. It also could be that month she bled she miscarried. It seems odd that she wouldn't have gone to her OBGYN after that...

Hmmm, she should see a doctor asap.
