i have one child already so i know what to ecpect from a pregnacy, but i havent had my period in 5mths and i have really sharp pains in my back and lower abdoman and i havent had no weight gain and the in the last week 1/2 my stomach has swelled up and i cant eat as much as i used too. the pain gets worse especially after i pee the doc said that a pee test came back positve that i was preg but he said that i will be due in january of 07, if i was 6monts allready than i would fell a baby move and i dont and i would be alot bigger but i still weigh 130 what i have weighed more months please help me.

We are saving for a house & will probably get it at the end of next year. We have $50,000 saved up. We both have finished college & have good careers-we both make $20-25/hr. I know he wants to get everything financially in place but I'm so tired of waiting! He is 31 & I am almost 27. We've been married almost 2 years but been together a total of 8 years. I just feel like we have everything together except a house but hopefully we will get one next year. How can I talk him into trying to conceive several months before we buy? He said we might start in March but he changes his mind a lot. He even told his mom that & now she is excited. I just hope he doesn't give our hopes up! Any advice would help...
Also I want to add that I work at home 5 days/wk so that would help as far as not having to pay someone to watch the baby.

I am due Feburary 2007 with a boy.We had settled on the name Robert Drake Huerta. But recently my husband mentioned changing it to Drake Robert Huerta.

I have had vaginal dryness, decreased sex drive, no periods (that is great) BUT I have recently had some problems retaining water and I cannot even wear my wedding rings.
I am thinking of NOT getting my next, which would be my 3rd, shot on Nov 15th because I have this water retention and it is painful.
I would like to know if anyone else has had this AND what other side effects you have experienced.

Ok well im am 18 years old, and found out i am 7 weeks pregnant, i love children and babies in fact i plan on being a maternity nurse. My dad died 2 years ago and i have saved a lot of money through his social security and such. I have a good job i work full time and i will be teaching saftey classes in the nest month to truck drivers.
My boyfriend is 24 we have been friends for 4 years and have been together over a year he is a dental technician he is a great guy and loves kids to, i am excited about having a baby but also very very scared, i dont know if it will kill my dreams of going to college and getting my dream job. I want to keep the baby but i dont know how to tell are parents i need some kind words to make me feel a little more capable any advice or suggestions?

the hospital? i been having a lot of menstrual cramps and some discharge like yellow clear something like that i cant sleep mostly trought the night because i feel to much pressure on my right foot or in my pelvis it hurt like hell. last night i felt like sharp quick pains just there like in my you know and it hurts a lot and i get scared sometimes i feel my belly going hard sometimes i cant work beacaus im feeling a pain or a pressure so big that i cant even work im 35 weeks by sonogram and 34 by mi doctor due date. this is my second pregnancy my first lasted 37 weeks and i didnt experience any oif this

I know this doesn't really have anything to do with parenting/pregnancy, but I figured alot of people in this section might know. Has anyone seen the commercial for Rice Krispies with the little kids eating cereal with their moms? In the background, it's the song "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" but it's a different version of it. It's somebody "ooooh-ing" and it's kind of slow. Does anyone know who sings that version of it? It's a really beautiful verson of it and I'd like to have it. Thanks.

every year since I was kid. The halloween block party has been in the same place. All the kids trick or treat, they have music costumes contest for all ages and other stuff. I am 32 weeks preg. and went into labor yesterday. They gave me a tributerline shot to stop contractions and sent me home with medicine to keep the uterus from contracting. The nurse told me that I was 2 centimeters dilated and 77% this is my 3rd pregnancy and had my 2nd at 36 weeks I am going to dr tomorrow but wanted to know what does this mean? Could I have the baby soon or will it still take a while? Very concerned and nervous about the babies health. Any suggestions?

when I was 21 I had a miscarriage now I am 40 and have been trying last month I got my period for 3 days is was light this month I was a week late and had it for 3 days on the 2 day it was heavy then I woke up and it was gone. I have not been feeling right my breast feel heavy I am so tired and i feel like I am going to be sick but the feeling pass and I have alot of gas. I know I should see a doctor but have no medical coverage and money is tight. Is it possible to get pregnant and still bleed the way I described. oh yeah and since I was pregnant before I do have liquid in my breast which I was told was normal usaully when i get my period they leak for a day or 2. when pressed the liquid comes out and this has been going on for about 2 weeks. I also feel a little cramping above my hairline.
