Do you think abortions are okay?

I believe it is up to each woman and if she decides to, then there should be safe clinics where it should be done. Every person has to live with their decisions and it should not be anyone's business as to their decision.

I do think abortions are okay. Some people are just not ready for it. I have had one befor i was with my fiance. It was not done on purpouse. The so called would have been father was an asshole. He thaught you should only have a baby when it is planned. That's how his family did it and how he was. For fear of being a 20 yr old single mother abortion was my choice. I felt horrible at first but at the same time it was great no more sickness and you are back to yourself in 48 hrs. If i wouldn't have chose this option i would have never had the chance to be with my loving fiance and our 2 yr old daughter. It would of never happened if i kept the baby. Don't let anyone tell you that it is a bad thing. It is your body and they don't know your situation so how can the y judge you.

Everybody has there opinions. I mean there are good resons for it but there are some stupid *** women that do it because they dont like the guy, they hate the guy, the guy cheated on her but that really dont give them the reason to kill a baby that had nothing to do with it, so in other words no i don't agree with abortions. If there is a reason that you dont want to keep your baby then give it up for adoption, I mean it is not the babys fault that he/she was conceived. There are millions and millions of good people out there that can't have babies, so think about that because who knows if you go out and have an abortion there well be a time that you well not be able to have a baby. So think before you act.

If abortions are used as a method of birth control, it is not acceptable at all. If a woman becomes pregnant as a result of a rape, then abortion should be an acceptable option. I strongly believe it is a woman's right because it is the woman's body that suffers from pregnancy. The father's discretion should also be a factor when dealing with the decision to have an abortion.

In my opinion, No, in no way would I ever abort a baby. however, I can give my opinion, but if that's what someone wishes to do, then that's their choice- I might be a little upset, but it's up to them, I wouldn't hate anyone for it. I've had a few friends that had an abortion-one in high school (which honestly, if it were myself, i would have had the baby), but it was her decision, so I didn't really say much... I am understanding, so i can see why people would do it, but in my heart, I feel that God has a plan for everything, and He'd be with me no matter what kind of situation I was in. I got pregnant, and was in a situation where I didn't have a husband-he was my boyfriend at the time, and not a really decent job at the time, but i decided to keep my baby, and I'm soooo glad I did.

Abortions are wrong except in rare medical cases and rape. Having said that, I can't figure out a way to make it illegal in a way that allows for those few cases.

That little "glob of cells" feels pain and has a heart beat by the end of the third month. Worse yet, many abortions are performed beyond the 3rd month.

1/3 of all abortions are performed for women who've had at least one already -- it's not like they got caught once, or were the victim of a crime on the second time. They're just being stupid, and in this case, evil.

I haven't met any woman who thinks that their abortion is something they're proud of. Most women that I've talked to view it as a very sad, even shameful time in thier life. My sister had one after her rape, and to this day it really bothers her. An abortion takes away a pregnancy, and leaves a scar that never ever goes away.

I think that abortions are okay. I'm not necessarily saying that I would get one, but it all depends on the circumstances. It's the Mother's choice. I hate how everyone is saying that they're horrible when really they could give you a chance to live .. especially if you were young and in high school. Whether to save a baby's life or your own is always a tough decision to make and it always always always depends on the circumstances.

Really it depends on the situation. If it is for some one who was just careless and doesn't care about it. that's wrong. It should be legal otherwise people will be getting them out of vans and such again and dying. It is something that should be thought about very long and hard before the final decision is made. Possibly get some counseling. There are so many arguments as to it being moral legal right wrong. Quite frankly it is a decision that is and should be personal and a very hard decision.

No i think that abortion is wrong. There are so many options besides abortion. All you have to do is give it up for adoption private or thru an agency. There is many people who would take a baby. I would love to privately adopt. And i know others would too

I think that if that is what the woman wants then she can have it. Unless the people trying to make her keep the baby are going to pay the prenatal and hospital bills, as well as food for the baby and clothing and a place for it to live, then nobody should say anything. Pro choice all the way.

I believe in some cases abortions may be necessary... for instances such as rape, incest or the mothers life could be in jeopardy...I am Pro choice and support life...adoption...and abortion...However, i believe that abortion should not be used as a birth control method....I will not look down upon a woman for the choices she makes for her body....I can only empathize how they feel and how difficult it is...
