actually, if you have a bank account or life insurance policy, they may be able to hlp you. Look into your mortgage to see what help they have. I got a car loan and have a nifty thing on it stating that if I lose my job, they will let me hold off on payments for 3 months without adding extra interest charges. Our life insurance policy also has a benifit that if one of us loses our jobs, we can borrow from our policy. Also, do you have a 401k plan? Borrow from that if you do.

you could always try the community acction agency...or go to the human services dept in you city ... theuy should have some information

ask your mortgage company but it's HUD for housing help. They will work with you. http://www.hud.gov/
