I know there are allot of myths contributed to pregnancy.. I have heard a few myself and wanted to know if yuo have heard any silly ones....open to nay answers...thanks for your time

if u barely have morning sickness it will b a boy (was right for me). more pregnant go into labor during the full moon (is this true? someone email me if they know). if u crave protein it will b a boy, craving fruit leads to a girl. men that r lacking in the pants can only have girls and well endowed men create boys. a woman looses one tooth for every child she has (old wives never heard of calcium???)
this was a cute question, it's nice to know what everyone else has heard

I had an older woman at work yell at me for lifting my arms above my head to put something on a shelf...she said that doing so would wrap the cord around my baby's neck. I've heard that if you really suffered with morning sickness it would be a girl and if it wasn't so bad it would be a boy...

friend of mine said missionary gets u a girl, doggy style a boy. Load of nonsense of course.
What is seemingly true is that male sperm swim faster but die quicker than female sperm. So if you want to increase the chances of a girl, have sex late in your cycle (at or shortly after ovulation).

People used to tell these racist stories about ignorant people who came to the hospital and told the doctors that they were going to have puppies because they had sex with a German Shepard..... (yah right).
Or that some ignorant woman would decide to name her daughter Vagina because she didn't know that it was the proper name for a private part and thought that the hospital names your daughter for you....
These stories were all very stupid and designed to make people think that certain classes of people were so uneducated and far gone....
Fortunately, I don't hear these kind of stories anymore.

if you scratch your belly while you are preg. then you will have a road map by the time you are done with the pregnancy. I have had 3 kids although the one ended as a stillborn and one on the way and NO ROAD MAP YET!

My aunt told me If I lifted my arms above my head, the umbilical cord would wrap around the baby's neck and strangle it. My Dr. said it was not true, and my baby was born just fine.

If you carry high you're having a boy... carry low and its a girl. Not true.
