The only worry I had were about the chemicals emanating from a new mattress (putting off the purchase isn't an option), but now somebody's got me worried about memory foam and SIDS...

My 13 month old daughter is the fussiest baby ever. She screams if I don't sit right on the floor next to her while she plays. She is my 4th child and the only one to carry on like this. I am at my wits end. I can't even go to the bathroom unless Daddy or one of the siblings is there with her. She just screams and fusses all of the time. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get her to play by herself. Other than the fussiness, she is pretty much average. She is still breastfed but eats normal food and drinks juice from a cup. She is starting to walk and only says a couple of words so she can't exactly tell me what is wrong with her. I play with her most of the day just to keep her from crying. I am starting to worry about my older children because I feel like I am hardly even parenting them because the 'baby' takes up sooooo much of my time. Dad tries to help but it is really a lot of stress on the whole family. Thanks in advance for your help!

My son is nearly fourteen and is very immature for his age. His main problem is that he is extremely annoying and aggrevating to the point where I only take him certain places so that I dont feel embarassed or uncomfortable

i am apart of a mothers group, i joined a few weeks ago. im only 17 but that dosent make me a bad mother. everyone knows that, and respects me for what i am doing. i take care of my son by myself all day, my husband works. anyways, one woman at the group is always treating me like im an idoit. she gives me rediclous advice, like "dont let him play with the bottle, or he will never learn to feed himself", or "dont hold him on your hip or his hips will grow outward". i just ignore it and go on doing it to show her i am not listening to her.
well, we were at a family bbq yesterday adn my son was cranky because he is teething. of course it seems impossible to get him qites, and plus he was tired. well she came right up to me and took him out of my arms while i was saying, "its okay, i can handle it, please stop". she just stared up with what im doing wrong and what she does to fix the problem. nobody has EVER taken my son out of my arms and i felt helpless.

My 3 month old baby boy cries usually early morning 1 to 5 am, if I put him on my chest, he calms down and falls asleep - then I can sleep too. I'm only worried I might fall in deep sleep and forget that the baby is on top of me. Any ideas how we can both sleep longer together?

My grandbaby is upset and crying tonight. He and his mother are saying she's colicky. But she's also recently had an ear infection and a mild case of pheumonia. In the last 2-3 days she's been vomiting up phelgm and has had diarhea. Not tempatures yet. I'm not sure of what "Colic" is, but it seems to me that it's more than that. Any thoughts?

I'm 6 months pregnant with my second daughter and we like the name Marcella... My mom doesn't like it and a friend of ours said it was awkward. I think it's pretty and feminine! And what middle name would sound nice?
