How accurate were your due dates for baby being born?

I didn't make it to my due date which was September 14, 2001, i had my son at 35 weeks on August 16, 2001

Well with all the great answers you have already received. It seems like every one is different. Both of mine were 2 weeks early. With a healthy pregnancy it is either between 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your due date. Good luck and I hope this helped.

I was induced 2 weeks prior to my due date, but ultrasounds showed the baby measuring for the due date...I read that only 7% of babies arrive on the actual due date.

Both of my children were born on their due dates but im informed that that was very lucky, and that on a whole only 20% of women have their babies on their due dates. i personally dont know any friends whose babies arrived on time. Im having my third baby now and theres no way id be lucky enough this time round....i'll probably be as over-due as possible!!!

To my dismay, both my daughters were born within 2 days of their due dates (I was hoping sooner). So I'd say they were almost accurate.

Very accurate - consider that the period of gestation is from 36-40 weeks - so you can be 4 weeks out. Each of my children came at 39, 39, 38 and 37 weeks respectively.

umm. i knew the exact day of conception lol.. was the only day in three months that i'd had sex lol.. but he was born at 36 weeks at 8pound 13... so not too sure about the due dates i was given coz he was a big baby for four weeks early!!

My baby was born on his exact due date,at 2am but i think its pretty rare.Something like 5 %

My son was due on the 6th March 2006 but came on the 2nd March, we left the hospital on his due date!
