We had "Malawi" by Kidsline from Babies R Us. It is a jungle theme with cute animals, good for both sexes. I think that the 6 piece set was about $160.

I have a set from Kmart. It has little cars, boats, planes, and helicopters on it. I don't remember what the actual name was, but it was $49.00 for the fitted sheet, comforter, bumber pads, and matress skirt.
To tell the truth, I didn't have a theme in mind. I bought this set because it was the cheapest that didn't look tacky. Transportation has since become the theme, mostly by accident. I have a baby boy though.

i have 3 sons. i did not know what i was having for the first 2, wanted to be surprised, the third, i caved in and found out the sex. anyhow, several years ago, i used the winne the pooh 100 acre woods nursery set. the comforter was green and white mostly, but had all the characters in it and the reverse was green with tiny white polka dots. the bumper pad was green with tiny white polka dots and the sheets came in both designs. i bought everything in that theme, dust ruffle was green with white polka dots, all of it was a very pretty bright green but subtle enough as not to be too over powering. i had everything in that theme, quilts, blankets, receiving blankets, you name it. the walls painted a very pale cream, not white and the overhead beams were painted a pale green. the rest of the room fell into place around those colors. worked for all 3 of my boys.

I had boy/girl twins two years ago and I wanted bedding for both of them that was unisex. I went with the John Lennon collection from Babies R Us. It's super cute, it's from actual animals that John Lennon drew, in neat colors like pastel green, orange, purple and blue. There's a lamp, and curtains, and bedding, etc. I got mine from the Babies R Us section of Amazon.com. It's the cutest, seriously. Oh! and the crib mobile? It plays "Imagine". God, you can't beat that.

For my oldest we used Precious Moments from Walmaet... Super cute. My second was disney babies, cute but hard to find matching stuff. Now for the one I'm expecting next month, his room is done in turtles (at walmart.com they have a ten piece nursery/bedding set called splish splash pond for $99 and it comes with everything.... the lamp... mobile... wall decor...everything, they have other ones too) and the living room stuff is winnie the pooh.

those names seem type of wide-spread for human beings preferring distinctiveness. I truly does no longer call William a unique call. do not get me incorrect, there is not any longer some thing extremely incorrect with the names, they only do not in good structure your description. i appreciate Noah Benjamin and William Ezra, and Taylor Elise is superb. yet i appreciate Sophia. So, if I change them up, my regularly going on set is: William Noah and Sophia Elise

we had "whirligig" for our first. it was really cute. light green, lavendar, yellow, blue, aqua, bugs and turtles and stuff.
it was about $250+ for the whole room (bedding and all the accessories) purchased a babies r us
it is discontinued now, but people still sell it new and used on ebay. as a matter of fact, I am thinking of listing all of our stuff there, too.
