NO, be glad your baby even sleeps through the night at all. All children are different. What time does your baby wake up? Try waking your baby up earlier so that she will want to go to bed earlier.

Do you mean your baby doesn't go to sleep until 10pm every night? If so, this is too late. You need to get your baby into a routine so that they learn the day/night clock. If you let your baby go to sleep too late, you will have a lot of trouble throughout its whole childhood trying to get it to sleep at a reasonable time. This will impact on its life as well as yours.
Children need routines. Great if the baby sleeps through the night but definitely should be down about 7:00pm.
Good luck!

That is a fine time for your baby to go to bed, especially if the baby is sleeping through most of the night. When the child is older then you can start an earlier bed time ritual for the baby. But for now..just be thankful the baby sleeps!!!

honestly, if your 4 month old is going to sleep on routine already.. that's awesome.. I have a 5 month old nephew, who never goes to sleep at the same time.. if 10 is not good for you, try getting them into a routine of going to sleep earlier, try giving them a warm bath at night with lavender baby wash, it gets them a bit sleepy.. after a few nights of the same thing most babies might get into routine, my nephew sleeps when he wants, and my sister has quickly learned to go to sleep when he does, so she has enough energy to get going when he wants to be up an at em'..

what does a baby know or care about what a clock might say. It's the amount anfd quality of sleep that he gets that is important and the fact that he has a schedule at all is wonderful. Good Work Mom

4-month-olds pretty much sleep whenever you let them. Is 10 p.m. convenient for you? Then it's fine. At 4 months a baby will pretty much follow your schedule fi you stick with one.

No, it's not too late--but you should consider starting to get him/her to sleep a couple of hours earlier. Keeping them awake in the daytime, and getting them a lot of fresh air helps them to sleep better, and earlier.

A baby sleeps when they need it. They don't care what time it is.

no not really but if you feed your baby at around 8 o'clock and then burp then then lay them on your lap and or onn your chest and let them listen to your heart and rub their back slowly and gentally then your baby will go to sleep earlier . you should really try this
