Just curious to see what other parents are feeding their baby @ 10 months.

I know that every baby is different & you have to follow your babies cues. I'm just curious to see how other babies are eating.

My 6 month old has been a very good eater. We feed her breakfast lunch and dinner and she still gets her bottles also. The past couple of days she has been crying or fussing only during her food. She has gone through trying everything for allergy issues and was fine during all that but now meals are becoming an unhappy time and I don't want her to see them that way. Sometimes it's like I can't put the food in her mouth fast enough or other times she just cries and fights. She is an excellent baby and this is really the first big problem we have had with her. Does anyone know why or have any suggestions for us? Thanks so much!

I'm curiuos about breast feeding. I know that it's natural. Does a woman have to stick a pin in her nipple to make a hole for the milk to flow or squeeze out?

I was just thinking about stuff i need for when my baby is born and i'm getting quite stuck on how many clothes to buy. I no babys go through clothes really quickly, grow out of them and they need washing quite often, but how much newborn stuff (from your own experience ) would you suggest i should buy? How much of each thing would you suggest ?

I'm trying to get my baby to sleep more consecutive hours during the night by feeding him more (every 1.5 to 2 hours) during the day to fill his belly per some of the sleep books. I've done it for 2 days now and he still won't go longer than a 4 hour stretch at night. How long do I try this method before deciding that it won't work for him and all it'll probably do is cause him to gain too much weight. 1 week? 2 weeks?

My sister is having her first child (baby boy due 6/2 very excited!!). Her co-worker who has a autistic 3 year old boy has said her sons vaccinations were the cause of autism and that the chances of this happening are greater in baby boys. She told my sister not to get the baby vaccinated untill he is older. Has anyone heard this before? Is this a fact? Should she wait?

Last night I was laying down on my back and I was trying to listen to the babys heart beat with the heart beat monitor that I got and I felt this funny feeling in my stomache. Its kind of hard to explain, it was like a nudge. I felt it a couple of times. So I was wondering what it was....I mean I could clearly tell that it was not gas bubbles or anything. Im not a big person im only 5'2 and 118 pounds(gained weight lol). I go to the doctors monday so I cant wait to ask her, but has anyone experianced this before? and could you please give some advise as to what you think it was? thank you all very much!

I've been breast feeding my 7 week old from the start!! And lately for the past 1-2 wks or so, he's been fussing a little while nursing then screaming after he's done for about 10-15 minutes?? I do try and burp him, sometimes he does and sometimes not, but whether or not he does he cries. He's not constipated, but he does spit milk out sometimes while nursing, or it'll drip out too. And he spits up too. I didn't think breast fed babies got gas much anyways?? So, I don't know what's bugging him? No fever or anything else I've noticed going on? Any advice or insight? Thanks this is my first too!!!!!

My 8 month old refuses to use a bottle even if i put breastmilk in it. I give him one everyday and he has yet to give in. The reason i am pushing the issue is I have plans on night in a few weeks and he will be spending the night at my sister in-laws. I have yet to leave him for a whole night and i am looking forward to one night off( Time alone with hubby and much needed sleep) I am very worried because he constanly wakes up at night to "nurse" he isn't hungery but he seems to be using me as a soother.

If you have any suggestions i would appreciate help on both "problems" that being getting him to take a bottle and to stop using me as his soother

Okay so I know that having your feet swell is totally normal, but my left foot seems to be swelling worse.... Im wondering if this is normal?! Like a few years ago, I fell on my left knee and I am wondering if this may be causing less circulation in my left leg and may be why my left foot swells a little worse... Also, does anyone know of anything to do to reduce swelling?!
