"lettuce is one of the worst foods for rabbits. It contains recognised properties which make it so dangerous … lactucarium, an organic form of laudanum, which is the active ingredient in opium "......
it says this can be life threatening so get your little bunny to a vet to be on the safe side.

If anything the rabbit would get diahrrea from the lettuce, but also in saying that I am not saying that the lettuce is not the cause.
The lettuce could very well be the cause. Has your rabbit stopped eating? If so, the lettuce could have upset the digestive system and caused the rabbit to quit eating.
I'd recommend making sure your rabbit has plenty of water. Stop feeding the lettuce or any other greens, vegetables, or fruits. I'd even recommend removing the rabbit pellets temporarily for about 24 hours or so. Instead, go buy some straw or timothy hay and put a handfull of that in to help your rabbit. The roughage and fiber should help and so should the water. After 24 hours try putting your rabbit back on about half of its normal ration of pellets. Also try using the same brand of pellets as whoever you got the rabbit off of. Just the stress of moving a baby rabbit will make it go off feed. You may want to go to the vet to see about getting a medicine like neomycin or an anti-diahrrea drug to add to your rabbits water.
If your rabbit is a wool rabbit, then you may want to see about getting some papaya tablets to feed it.
If you have trouble getting your rabbit to eat you might try feeding it a few raisins. Not many, just a few (a small pinch) to get it eating. I heard one of my long time rabbit show pals swear by them to get a rabbit to eat. And they are pretty knowledgable about rabbits.

Stick to rabbit food.
Make sure he has water - make sure he has a bowl and a bottle so that he definately has something he's used to.
If it carries on visit the vet.
