Last night I was laying down on my back and I was trying to listen to the babys heart beat with the heart beat monitor that I got and I felt this funny feeling in my stomache. Its kind of hard to explain, it was like a nudge. I felt it a couple of times. So I was wondering what it was....I mean I could clearly tell that it was not gas bubbles or anything. Im not a big person im only 5'2 and 118 pounds(gained weight lol). I go to the doctors monday so I cant wait to ask her, but has anyone experianced this before? and could you please give some advise as to what you think it was? thank you all very much!

It's possible that it could've been the baby moving. Being that your are small framed person...you are more likely to feel the baby move earlier than others.

I'm about your size, I am 5'3" and was 118 when I got pregnant with my first son. I felt him move for the first time about 16-17 weeks. It's a little hard to explain the feeling when you've never experienced it before...but you can bet your money that it probably was your baby! :D How exciting!

Honey, you have been 'kicked' for the first time! Congratulations! It's the most 'amazing feeling' when you feel that first little 'nudge' inside you ... because that's when you can 'truly feel' that it's a 'real baby' growing and not 'just you' any more.

Congrats! That could definitely be the baby you felt. To me it felt like fluttering or nudging, REALLY deep inside.
