Okay so I know that having your feet swell is totally normal, but my left foot seems to be swelling worse.... Im wondering if this is normal?! Like a few years ago, I fell on my left knee and I am wondering if this may be causing less circulation in my left leg and may be why my left foot swells a little worse... Also, does anyone know of anything to do to reduce swelling?!

It is common especially in a first pregnancy to have some swelling. Try to stay off your feet as much as possible, keep them elevated, and watch your sodium intake. Also make sure you tell your doctor that way they can keep an eye on you.

Most probably circulation try elevating your foot when sitting.
If you notice it all the time it could be do to retaining water in which case a water pill (prescribed by MD) should be taken.
Sometimes the kidneys are not functioning at full capacity and the pill will make you urinate a lot more, getting rid of the swelling.
Another possibility could be a sprain similar to water on the knee but then it would be present all the time.
If veins are present in the foot, it could be leaky valve causing blood pooling. Simple day surgery can relieve this as well.

Okay if you have been elevating you foot and the swelling hasn't gone down and your foot is tingling then you should see a doctor because that probably is a sign of bad circulation.

Since the catagory was asked in the pregnancy catagory I will assume that you are pregnant...but even if you are not I would still have a Dr look at it because leg swelling can be a sign of high blood pressure

god don't i remember that. I fell down an esclator when i was 4 months pregnant. A few days later my feet started to swell so bad that I couldn't walk. I had to go to the podiatrist, and he gave me a treatment for it. Try soaking and staying off of your feet. If that doens't work, go see a doctor.

Are you still pregnant or do you have the baby?? If you have had the baby you need to see your Dr. ASAP- you could have a clot or something serious like that- you should not swell after birth. If you are still preggers- follow the advice so far- they are all right.

Assuming that you are pregnant...First...lay off the damn sodium and salt. That's whats causing the swelling. That means no pickles either. Anything with a lot of sodium in it causes swelling. My only suggestion is to sit down and get off of your feet for as long as you can.
