My wife and I just had a daughter and she is producing more then twice as much breast milk as the baby needs. We would like to know more about selling or donating the excess milk instead of just dumping it down the drain.

I know I might make some women angry with this question, but here goes... We just had a baby about four months ago, and my wife is acting like because she breast-feeds that should mean I have to do almost all the work around the house. I make the dinners, do the dishes, take care of the dog, take out the garbage, and lots of other little things.. I'm also the one who changes the baby, bathes him, puts him to bed, and I stay up with him when he won't sleep while my wife goes to bed..

whenever I ask her to help, she basically acts like she has been doing her part by breast-feeding the baby.. but when I see her breast-feeding, she's basically just plopped down on the couch in front of the TV with the baby in front of her.. she's just lounging there, so it really doesn't look like work to me..

I've made a real effort to be a supportive husband through this whole "new baby" thing, but I feel like I'm being taken advantage of.. or am I wrong for feeling this way?

Can you believe that they still haven't taken the baby from her? I guess they're investigating because it was supposedely an accident but even if it was an accident (which I doubt, 3 oz of vodka, I doubt the baby willingly drank that down) wouldn't that still qualify as neglect?

My partner and I have 5 children (all boys) when my youngest boys were 4 weeks old (twins) my partner had a vasectomy it was a joint decision, however the doctor that performed it apparently told him it was irreversable and theres no way in the world it could be reversed. At the time we both agreed we had completed our family as it was quite hard work with twin babies and a 22 month old toddler at the same time but now there older and soon starting nursery I feel I have been a bit hasty i would love to try for a little girl although my partner is addamant he wants no more, I think he is just saying this to put me off the scent does anyone know someone that has had an irreversable vasectomy?

If pregnancy is supposed to be 9 months, wouldn't that be literally 36 weeks? 40 weeks would mean 10 months. so why do doctors want women to wait until around 40 weeks to have the baby?

She never used to like milk until she started eating puree at 6 months, she started off ok then she decided she loves milk and refuses puree point blank most of the time. Every now and again she will eat. She is not gaining weight much and i dread every meal as it feels like a fight. I have tried changing temperatures, eating positions, distractions, finger food dipped in puree, and many more.... any one have advice or experience??

I have 3 months old baby. he was breastfeeding so well. But for the last 2 weeks it's been so hard. When I give him the breast he starts screaming and pushing me away. The doctor says that some babies go on a "strike" and it should go by itself. But it's so dificult for both of us. I have to wait for him to be really hungry, and still after 3-4 min. of breastfeeding I have to force him to continue...
Have you ever had this experience? Any advice?

I am just curious, I am going to be watching a 3 week old baby, for six days more in likely full time, would this be a good pricefor 8 hours or under $20 a day and 8 hours or more $2.50 per hour, do you think that is good pricing, I have been sitting for a very long time mostly for people I know, and I am always getting ripped off, so I am wondering if this is a good price that isnt too pricy, or if you have a better pricing could you let me know?

I see all these cute little outfits and cant wait to buy my baby cloths, but I'm afraid I will get so many from family and friends that the baby won't be able to wear them all? Did you get a ton of newborn clothes from other people and wish you didn't buy any yourself?

My son has a stomach virus and he had a fever of 102.6 I gave him tylenol and it went down too 101.6. I am thinking of bringing him to the ER because his fever is going up and down.

What is considered a high fever? Please let me know, I am planning on taking him either way.

My husband said that his fever is going down and it is not necessary too go, but I am very paranoid and I just want to make sure he is alright...

Thank for responding....

My brother is 6 yrs older and my sister 6 yrs younger. My husband's brother is 7 yrs younger and his sister 14 yrs. We would like our children to grow up together and be friends from the git go, not grow into it as adults or worse not at all. What do you suggest is the best age difference?
