ive been trying for a week to give him chunkier foods but he refuses to chew it and sometimes he will jsut swallow it, will he learn to chew food? he has 2 teeth

The most important thing right now as far as feeding solids is texture. Instead of chunky foods or foods with pieces in it, just try less smooth foods. If he has been eating really smooth pureed foods, then just puree them a little less, so that the texture is a little "rougher." Then work your way slowly up to foods with actual pieces in it. Don't worry, he still has plenty of time to learn how to chew.

If he only has two teeth, chances are none of them are molars, so he probably doesn't have the right equipment to chew! Be patient. He will learn to chew sometime between now and his senior prom, because if he hasn't learned by then, he won't be able to get a date. :)

He hates the texture! His system is a little immature for solid foods, yet. Keep on pureeing it. He'll start to eat when he is ready.
