guess what the baby ate...its kinda nasty but you have such a laugh ...get some diapers...and smudge some bottled baby food on it...put different foods on diapers and people have to guess what it is and who ever gets the most correct answers gets a prize..doesnt matter what the prize is you dont even have to give a prize...another is the cloth diaper race where you split people up into two teams and each team has to put a cloth diaper on a teddy and pass it to the next person,which ever team gets to the last person first wins.

At my baby shower we played the guess how many diapers game...you find a fairly large width vase and fill it with as many diapers as you can (open them up and line the inside of the vase with them first. This way you can fit more). Then you have all the guests write down how many diapers are in the vase. At the end of the party or in the middle somewhere you announce the winner and give them a small prize. Then the mommy to be can keep the pretty vase with all the awesome diapers inside.

Another game is to give everyone at the party a pin and the rule is they can't say the word baby...If they do they must give up the pin(s) to the person that caught them. At the end of the shower the person who has the most pins wins. (this game is kinda fun because you don't necessarily have to stop the festivities to play the game. Everyone loved it at my shower and had a great laugh in the process.)

We played this really fun one, and I'll do my best to try and describe it:

Everybody gets a blank 3X5 card and a pen. You tell them to write down a question that a new mother might have.

You then collect the cards, turn them over and hand them out again (blank side up) making sure nobody gets their own card and you tell them that they are not allowed to look at the question.

On the blank side, they answer the question they originally thought of. Once they're done, you collect the cards and read the questions with the "answers".

So, for example, one lady writes, "How do I change a baby that keeps wiggling?"

And the answer is, "You give him oragel"....(because she's answering her own question about teething)

That was a horrible example, but when you have a bunch of people the questions and answers are generally halarious!

The first one was to give each person a small thing of play-dough and tell them to make a baby out of it - I think we gave them 5 minutes to complete it. The parent's to be then voted on their favorite. There were some seriously strange looking babies, and everyone got a good laugh. The second one was we did a baby diapering relay. We set up three tables with a baby doll, diapers, wipes and powder. Each person had to change the babies diaper using all the accessories then give it to the next person in line and the diaper had to stay on. The key to making this work was we broke up the group so that experienced mommies and daddy's weren't together in one group - we split them up. Then we gave $5 Starbucks gift cards to each person in the group that won.

when i was pregnant, my office started a baby pool. they made a calendar of the month i was due, then divided each day from noon to midnight. people signed up for a specific date and 12 hrs as to when they guessed the baby would be born. they paid a few dollars, maybe 5 a guess. the person who was closest to the correct date won half the pool, the baby got the other half..it was fun..

i have always played the game where u take a handfull of cotton balls and throw then on the floor and try to pick them up with a spatula while being blind folded or you can play a game where you put a squash wrap it in tin foil and pass it person to person by your legs with music playing and whoever has it last is out kinda like musical chairs
