In high school we could take a parenting class that had a fake baby that would cry as a normal baby would. You still have much growing up to do, so please don't consider getting pregnant. Try babysitting in a year or two. It's a LOT of work, trust me... I have a 14 month old son- I'm also 24 yrs old and married.

Well, they make dolls that are like that, so explain how you're feeling to your mom and ask for one.

Alternatively, you could start baby-sitting, if you know how to take care of a baby (like, poo in the diapers and everything), and you'll get your baby fix and earn some money, too.

If any of your friends have really young siblings, go hang out with them and help take care of them for a few hours.

When I was 11, I never felt like that. I wasn't even entirely sure what sex WAS at 11.

I'm not sure what you learned about, or why they were teaching you guys how to take care of a baby. (The most I ever learned was when I took a baby-sitting class and CPR class at the Red Cross when I was 10, for a Girl Scouts badge.) You should probably express your feelings to a guidance counselor, too. That's why they're there.

Get babysitting courses so you can start making money AND playing with (and caring for) babies. You'll get a better feel for the un-fun parts of parenting, which really are the things that are going to keep you from getting pregnant.

I appreciate that you don't want to be pregnant, and I think your mother would be pleased. I think if you talk to her about it (especially the don't want to be pregnant part!), she will do what she can to help you get your babysitting certifications from the Red Cross so you can be an effective sitter.

As a parent of an eight-year-old, not having a sitter available has made things very difficult. At this point, you could make quite a lot of money because reliable, affordable sitters are in very high demand.

you should get a doll and play a game. Make your alarm clock scream really annoyingly and go off every three hours and make sure it wakes you up in the middle of the night screaming and you need to get out of bed and feed your toy doll and change its diaper and that takes about 40 minutes...then you have to put your doll somewhere it can sleep and sleep for about 2-3 more hours and get the alarm to go off again. Tha tis just the minor thing of having a baby. Mabye you should get money by stealing and robbing people so you can buy the diapers for your toy doll and also you should get real formula and try mixing it perfectly every single time you do it..I spend about 160 every month on formula, I spend about 60 a month on diapers, that does not include all the extras. then when you need to go to work to support your baby you should consider that its going to cost you about 600-800 dollers (more then one paycheck) just so it can go to daycare. Then the rest of your paycheck will go towards taking care of baby. Now....when you need to pay rent you will probably have to live in a shelter or be homeless because your minimum wage job isnt going to even cover the cost of your rent and your groceries. And when your friends want to play with you bring your doll, your formula, your diapers and your alarm..and with the alarm sometimes it should go off every hour, and during that hour you should have a button that will not shut the alarm off because sometimes babies cry and cry and cry and nothing seems like its going to soothe them. now sometimes your going to want a break from your baby to go out with friends, but you wont be able to because no one can watch your baby or you cant afford a sitter or you just cant get out because you have no money. Think of that as well. That is what you get to look forward to if you have a baby.

So if you learn that it is not as easy as y ou think then you will not make a huge mistake and make life one billion times harder on yourself..if you are already thinking of babies you should get on some birth control. Good luck girlie.

Talk to a school counselor. They will listen. Also they have the think it over doll in some schools and you may be able to have one for a week or something to show you having a baby isn't that great. If all else fails.... talk to your mom. She can get you a baby doll for Christmas. Good luck

How about getting a babysitting job. Take care of a child and get paid for it. You are to young to have a baby so wait until you are older because a baby full time is alot of work.

Take a babysitting class and an infant cpr class and you should make a good babysitter in a couple of years. Maybe you could volunteer somewhere like a local daycare or in the church nursery.

Try baby sitting. It'll help you both get the cute stuff you want, but you'll learn fast enough that they're not always cute and that it's a relief to be able to give them back to their parents after a few hours.

Some schools actually have this but you have to see with your school. Just remember its hard to take care of a child at any age. A baby is alot of work and responsability. You dont sleep as often and you can't go out to hang out with your friends anymore, and most people who dont have kids dont like to hang out with people who do have htem. think about everything befoer oyu decide to ever have a child
