So i have a question for baby daddys. If you left your babys mama for someone else and she kept you from the babys life, would you still try to be in their life? Even if thats not the case, how long would it take for you to finally want to be in your childs life even if your ex and you have both moved on?

I don't think there is a set age, because obviously all babies are different, but what should I be looking for? Is it when he can pull himself to a standing position?

Hi all, last week my sister delivered a boy baby. She is 31 now. For past one week she is unable to breast feed her baby. Doctor said she haven't formed milk in her breasts, they injected to feed her baby. Is that good to mother and baby or will it cause any problem for not able to feed her baby.

My six month old has 2 teeth on the bottom and I think he is getting some more on the top, last night when I tried to nurse him, as we always do at the same time everynight before he goes to bed, he bit me. It wasn't just like a nip though, he bit down really hard, I told him no don't bite mommy and of course he thought it was funny. But he kept doing it! He did it about 5 times, I even switched breasts to see if that might help, but it didn't. So in the end I had to rock him to sleep, which I have NEVER had to do. He has nursed everynight to sleep ever since he was born. So I figured that when he woke up again it would be fine and he would nurse as usual, but once again he bit me several times and I had to rock him to sleep. Has anyone had this problem? Oh and I should mention that he WILL NOT drink formula, he is a high needs baby and he knows what he wants and doesn't want, and he doesn't want formula otherwise I would just wean him onto a sippy cup because he wont drink fromabottle

my eight month old baby is exclusively breastfed (no formula ever. when she was about six mos., i began incorporating solids into her diet (which she absolutely LOVES). however, it seems like she wants to breastfeed less and less. is this normal? i guess maybe it's the natural transition from milk to solids but i can't help being concerned. i plan on breastfeeding until she's well over a year old (i'm hoping she'll simply wean herself when she's ready)--but i don't want her to wean herself right now (8 mos. seems too young)! at any rate, she's breastfeeding fewer times per day and seems to take less milk as she frequently will feed from one side only and refuse the other side. i always feed her milk before her solids (per dr's recommendation). when i worked yesterday, her grandmother said she took only 2 oz. of milk the entire day and refused to take any more (although she ate a lot of solids). Is this normal and what can i do to prolong breastfeeding?

She does ' poo' on a daily basis but very little and it seems to be runny. She has changed milk formula recently...to a more easier digestion one. Hoe do you relieve the constipation if she has it? Is this normal?

Hi me and my boyfriend are having trouble to decide on a name for our baby. I like boyish names for girls e.g charlie or george and i like unusual names for boys.
Your help is most apreciated.
Many thanks

I bought some cloth diapers on Ebay for my little one due in March. I am SO glad we bought them this far in advance, because I need to know what some of you would do...
I got 23 from one lady that are obviously used, but still in good condition. No problems.
The other 8 seem to be very stiff. Were they dried in the dryer or bleached maybe? They feel HORRIBLE! I wouldn't want them on my skin, definatlely!
My question, should I throw them out, wash them in a vinegar cylcle (I know you shouldn't use fabric softener) Should I add an inner lining of terry cloth (has anyoe else done that with theirs, my MIL suggested that)
Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

.....at first i didnt want toi breast feed due to the fact that i felt i would be unconfortable from the sensation, since the only mouth that was on my breast was my babys father. but now im starting to think that it might not be that bad seeing that i am having a girl. i dont want to do it for the whole time but i was concidering on doing it for the "colostrium?" breast milk is the best i know but i dont think i can go through with it for a while due to the fact that bi will have to start medication again for my pituitary tumor when the baby is born. so my question is.....is it even worth doing if i am only going to do it for about 4-5 days anyway?
