If kept to a minimum, the caffeine should not be significant, but I wondered if it was otherwise safe for the nursing infant?

As many medicinal herbs are dangerous when breastfeeding, should all herbal teas be avoided while breastfeeding?

I was wondering, if I start my son on a sippy cup can I put his formula in it and start to wean him from his bottle(only if my son shows me he is ready to). To move only as fast as my son is ready to.

Why do they get free formula, diapers etc for their kids when they are illegal. also free medicine, and free food?? Why do they get everything free, and the poor blue collared LEGAL person cant even pay for their medications, food, gas etc. is there a problem here???

My daughter is 5 months old and she used to never spit up when she was first born. But from about 2 months on she has been spitting up. Sometimes she spits up for a good 2 hours or so. During that 2 hours she probably spits up 3-5 times. And enough each time to change her bib. Is this a normal amount of spit-up? Or is it something I should be concerned about. She is burped well and I am not over feeding her.

Tonight my six month old son wanted to drink from my cup. I also gave him is own cup and he drink from it (with my help). I was wondering if I should buy him a sippy cup, or just give him a regular cup(while supervised).

My son was laying down playing with a toy and alll the suddent locked up his body and had a horrid look of pain on his face and had the most horrible screach ever. I picked him up right away changed him(he was wet but just barley) while changing him he had a sad look on his face and was making whining noises and now hes fast alseep. Should I be worried?

Is there anything that can make these days pass by quicker?? The father is in Iraq.. I just have my mother here and my first child, who is almost 2! My husband's best friend was killed by a drunk driver and his name was Nicholas. If the baby is a boy we are going to name him Nicholas Nicholson. My grandmother's first name and my mother's middle name is Margaret. If the baby is a girl we will name her Margaret Nichloson and call her Maggie. Any ideas for middle names for even first names(we can change the original ideas to middle names if needed.)

I am having a baby girl.. does anyone have any ideas on baby girl character themes? Almost everyone i know used Hello Kitty and Strawberry Shortcake, as well as Precious Moments and Tinker Bell and Baby Looney Tunes. I tried looking up other Sanrio brands but I guess Hello Kitty is the only character that they use to make a lot of baby items. I like Little Twin Stars, but i couldn't find too much stuff with that. Im 3 months pregnant right now. Im deciding if I want to breastfeed or not. EVERYONE is bugging me about it. He has exotropia (his eyes point outward also known as wall eyes) which he will have surgery on near his first birthday. His eyes are starting to line up and focus but doesn't make consistent eye contact. He is not particularly fond of being on his tummy and has not yet pushed himself up to support himself on his elbows during tummy time. We also haven't been able to give him as much tummy time as we normally would have because he has had a significant problem with reflux.

My Husband Tells me that he dosnt want me to feed our baby anything but milk or forula till the baby is 1 year old......he says that is what his mom did with him..personally i think it sounds completley nuts. I can understand waiting tillthey are older , but it seems cruel and stupid to deny them food until they are a year old..if not dangeous.

Anyone else ever hear of something like this..or have i just missed something ?

my mom freeked out when she found out I was doing this...she says "she has no choice but to eat when shes hungry so she drinks it cold," I've never heard why you shouldnt feed them cold milk. I've heard the only reason why people warm milk is because its supposed to relax them more.

My six week old daughter has what looks like a patch of raw skin in the fat folds on each side of her neck. One side is bleeding a tiny bit after I wiped her neck with a wash cloth. She gets three or four baths a week and I try to keep her neck dry... Does anyone know what this could be?
