Is there anything that can make these days pass by quicker?? The father is in Iraq.. I just have my mother here and my first child, who is almost 2! Wow, what a big difference it was this pregnancy, having a toddler to chase after! I'm just going crazy.. I take TONS of showers.. It seems like these days will never end!

Such warm responses! Thank you so much for who have responded so far. Sleeping the days away would be great, if it were possible! Haha. And yes.. the father being away is very difficult to deal with, but I am very proud of him for his sacrifices. Thank you so much! If nothing else, at least I have communicated with the "outside world" a little. :)

Hang in there, hun..it's almost over. You know it may sound really corny, but when I was pregnant I found jigsaw puzzles killed time. I also prepared casserole meals and froze them for those days when I got home from the hospital and didn't have the time or energy to cook. Or get a big novel to read.

OH MY! I can relate so much (except for the father being gone). My daughter is almost 5 months old and my son is 2 1/2 years old! I had c-section with both children. The first was not planned but the second one was. It was horrible to sit and think about, I remember!
Just keep yourself busy!
Definitley spend as much time with your toddler as you can because it is going to be so hard to do so after the baby is here, expecially with you not having their father there to help.
Take lots of naps.
Get your toddler some artsy things to play with that you HAVE to do with him so you can have some "special" time before the baby. Like playdough, paint...
Get him/her some things for after the baby comes that you don't have to be with him/her all the time! Duplo Legos are wonderful and/or wooden blocks... things that take some time to do.
You will get through it! It will be wonderful! Congratulations and good luck. If you ever need someone to "vent" to feel free to email me!

Well they will end and when they do as you remember comes lots of work and not sleep! Enjoy it as much as possible while you can. Know we are extremely proud of the Father for his service to our country and preserving our freedom! It makes me tear up to see the lack of selfishness in our servicemen! I am so proud and tell your children what a great man he is!

Spend lots of time doing things with your toddler. Believe me (mom of 8, 5 and 2 yr old) those last moments with him alone will be special. Good luck hope it goes by fast enough for you

Maybe try to sleep more... Listen to music.. a whole album of music takes upto an hour and a half to listen to and when your listening to music time fly's... Id say just sleep.. or maybe catch up with some friends..
