My son is 6.5 months and had a few things he liked best up until about 6 months. The first was his Baby Einstein Discover & Play Floor Mat. He could lie on his back or tummy and it had lots of colors and safe plush toys for him to look at and practice grabbing. At 4 months, he started to like his jumperoo and his exersaucer. Leap makes good toys. Basically just anything that isn't too difficult for the baby to hold, is colorful, or makes interesting noises is best for 3-6 months. Mirrors are great too. We had a toy called "Me in the Mirror" that sat independently on the floor and my son would giggle at himself in it. I believe we found that one at Target. Sassy makes a lot of great small rattles and teethers too.

You should get some soft toys with lots of different textures and colors or things she can grab and hold on to. Thats what my son was doing at that age. Rattles are good too. Boppy pillows are good to support sitting-trust me I know. A walker is good because she can move around instead of just being in one place. Adult supervision is the most important thing to the walker. I got the tiny steps walker from kolcraft-best toy in the house. TV is definately not such a good idea or habit to teach. Toys and an involved parent is way much better than any baby einstein dvd or interactive tv joystick. You both bond together and your helping her social skills and to explore hands on. Check out Target.com or amazon.com to see reviews from parents/consumers on baby products.

for a 3 mo old baby i find that they don't really need a lot of toys. right now u r the toy. do not fall into the trick of baby einstein. don't sit that infant in front of a tv to learn.

right now u is all that infant needs, well... a teething ring too. u can sing to your baby, talk , read. she needs your love or if u r too tired just put her in the swing or bouncer and let her stare at u and observe the room. this is how an infant learns.

well theres not a whole lot of "educational" toys for babies that young. Those kind of toys are really only made for like 9-12months +

At that age, the best thing for them that would entertain them would be rattles or anything that makes noise or plays music
