My baby used to only sleep 90 minutes now he sleeps from 6-8 hours and I am still waking up every 90 minutes. It is real bad because I am so tired and have a hard time falling asleep once I wake up. I hate it because I am such a grump because I am so tired.

I know that when you're breastfeeding, the baby gets what she needs. but when I express the milk and give her a bottle, how much should she be drinking?
she is now 6 weeks old.
Thanks!

are the shopping seat covers for a baby worth it or are they just too much of a hassle? I was thinking of getting one for my 9 month old son. the one i saw had 3 toys on it and a doggy pillow to rest their back on. i saw it at target.

I am watching my niece today- she lives with me so its know like she doesnt know me- I am basically her 2nd mom.

She is not eating. I fed her her 8oz bottle when she woke up at 9am and then when she was ready for her nap at 10:30am she had her 4oz juice bottle. I am trying to feed her lunch- which is Bananas with Rice she is NOT eating. She clamps her little toothless jaw down and will not eat.

What do I do

Or are they as much educative as only as TLCs :"baby story "and "bringing baby home "?

Also they have asked me to bring a blanket and two pillows .Do they mean the square shaped pillows which appear in Costco or the regular rectangular bedroom pillows with pillow covers on them?I would be too embarassed to take the latter.

my bb boy is 3&1/2 mths now...

have u encountered w/ur bb zzz lesser, nursing fussy & nursing less (usually 15-30min) now only 5mins & yet normal intervals of 3hrs... fussy nursing like sucking not focus kept breaking up & even tugging at nipple (which caused my nipple 2b bruised = clogged milk ducts = painful lump in breast)...

btw, do u suppliment formulars if BF exclusively? when do u intro solids to bb & what kinda foods?

PS: is it for real? boys develop slower? rate differ from girls? milestones of ur bb like when he started turning / crawling / eating / talking / walking?.....

thx & happy xmas! =)

Our third child is expected in Jan. and we're not low income but formula is sooooo expensive now. Are all brands pretty much the same across the board, including store brandds? My other question is how far in advance can you buy formula? If I start buying now and the baby has an allergy to milk can I exchange it for soy?

My husband and I are having a boy in March. We just registered at Babies R Us in our hometown. I was wondering about registering at a local Target as well. We've already looked there and they don't have most of the stuff we would like to have for the baby but, I have a very good friend who is also due in about a month and she had to register at both because her family wasn't getting all she needed at Babies R Us because it's "too far" to drive or "too expensive" Should we register at Target as well or just go with it? I was just wondering. It's kinda bothering me and my husband doesn't want to register anywhere else. We went thru the same thing when we got married. Nobody even looked up our registery, they just bought stuff and we ended up getting 3 or more things of one thing. So, I just need some opinions! Thanks so much!

Ick... My step-sister has a child, 1 month old and it is hideous.

I can't bring myself to outright lie and say something like 'What a beautiful child' but I know I'll have to make a comment, I think it would show if I was lying and probably hurt the parents feelings. Any broad, nice things I
could say without feeling like a total liar?

(baby really is ugly as hell)

My daughter is 6 months old and I am still breastfeeding and intend to for 1year. Lately she is screaming when it is time to nurse. She eats babyfood 3 times a day, but she still needs to nurse. Does anyone know what is going on? She refuses the bottle from everyone. She cannot have regular formula due to a few health factors, so I want to keep breastfeeding. She currently has an ear infections and is on antibiotics, is that why? Any ideas? Please!!
