Im currently making an audio visual presentation for my son's 1st birthday party. Can you recommend songs which the oldies (in their 70s) and newbies (20s) can relate to? Slow and upbeat songs that will not bore the crowd? Thanks.

I don't care about price. My 13 month old will scream until he throws up when I try to take his temperature. I need a reliable baby thermometer. We have one that is a binky and it doesn't work. We have one that goes in the ear, it doesn't work. We have one the hospital gave us, and it works but it takes forever. I would prefer not to use a rectal thermometer.

she is low on the weight scale so the dr. wants us to see if she can tolerate the soy again, we did - she vomited like my 6 yr old would have, everything came up, plus some. I think the doctors are guessing - any suggestions from those who have children with this condition?

how did you get ur child off the bottle to a sippy cup, my doc told me to just take the bottle away from him and don't give in to him if he goes without milk he will be find i think thats wrong but i do want to get him on a sippy just don't know how to help plz

My son is seven months old and he will not take his bottle. He will eat his formula with a spoon if I mix it with rice. Do you think that I should quit giving him bottles and give him his formula either in a sippy cup or spoon feed him? He also seems to still like his pacifier.

I have never been too fond on using pads. When i had my first child 19 months ago i used a pad that was not comfortable "AT ALL" because it was big and felt like i was wearing a dipper. my due date was on thanksgiving and i was thinking the last couple days about this and im not sure what the best thing to use that will not fell uncomfortable, but also do its job. im really sorry if the subject is a little too much for you.

my DOCTOR said that applesauce will help get rid of diarrhea but his NURSE said that wasnt correct, that it is actually a laxative. I thought apple JUICE was a laxative b/c of the sugar but appleSAUCE would help b/c of the fiber??? im confused! Help!!

My boyfriend has wanted a cat since we bought our house, and I wanted to get him one for Christmas, but I don't know if it is a good idea since we are having a baby. I have never owned a cat, so I don't know what they are like. Would a cat harm or be harmful to a baby, or even me being pregnant (if I don't change the litterbox)?

She was sleeping 8 hours before she hit a growth spurt and since then she'll go down at first for 5 hours and then up every three. I do feed her the first time she wakes, but try to put her down without feeding her again, sometimes I can and others I can. Any ideas of what I can do?

I have just started her on solid 1st stage baby foods, discussed with my doctor since she has more than doubled her birth weight. She is know 14 lbs and eats the baby food very well. But I am just not too sure if I should be giving her a fruit/ veggie with every bottle or what? Should she eat more than 1 whole jar at a time. She eats the 1 jar pretty fast, so does she need maybe a jar 1/2. She also eats 7-8 bottles a day with 4-6 oz. of formula. Please any ideas or personal experience help will be great...
