-Pretty good although some factors like birth weight will play a role. The doctor would be able to give you the most accurate information.

-This months issue of Babytalk magazine has a good article about twins born at 31 weeks and their time in the NICU.

-I have identical twins and I remember that after the 28th week I felt a little less worried because I knew that at that point the babies would be able to survive if they were born.

Hope this helps!

More than 95% unless there are other factors like twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. It also depends on whether they are a good weight for their gestational age. A baby born at 30.3 weeks weighing 3 lb has an excellent chance but one born at 1 lb has less of a chance.

The chances are pretty good but they could survive. The NICU will be their home for the next month or two while their lungs develop properly to breath on their own. Children born before 32 weeks are at a extremely high risk for brain damage and autism.

Their possibilities are not undesirable, it rather relies upon on the guy complications although that. i'm a triplet and we were born at 27 weeks which i imagine is round a similar as your daughters were born, perhaps a touch earlier? yet besides, imagine absolutely. We stayed contained in the well being facility for extra or less 2 months when we were born (we kept forgetting to respire) and that i do not comprehend the files yet I wasn't meant to stay yet (of route, considering i'm posting this), I did proceed to exist, even although that I have difficulty-free Cerebral Palsy (very consumer-pleasant in people born untimely). The CP would not impression my speech or intelligence, I in simple terms stroll awkwardly. besides, sturdy success!!

pretty high but they will need NICU and very special care for a few months maybe even 2 to 3 months. a lot depends on weight and if they get a infection. If they are healthy in every way they may be home in a month.

Depends on how well formed they are and how their lungs are...if they eat and thrive...many variables.

How much they weigh is a huge issue and since twins typically weigh less, there is that concern too!

very good if the lungs are developed. you can be given steroids to help mature the lungs if they suspect early labor.
