has changed literaly over night... she had been falling asleep around 9, but yesterday she went to sleep at 6pm, then she woke up at 4am, i fed her, she went back to sleep at 5:30, woke up at 9am, had breakfast and went back to sleep (she's still sleeping, it's 1pm now) Plus, she starts crying in her sleep a lot... i don't know what to do, i called the doctor's office and told the nurse, she said she was gonna tell the doctor and then call me back, but she still hasn't called... i know i sound dumb, but this is my first baby and i'm a little puzzled... please, help me figure out what's going on if you can! thank you!

My wife and I, both 31 yrs old, are freaking out about the idea of having a baby. But we also fear about one day regreting not having any... But who wants to have a baby just because you fear you might regret? ... follow my drift here?! we're very lost. Anybody can help w/ advise? (I should mention that we are both immigrants in USA, with no family base around us...)

Hello, my baby is almost 1 month old now. He wakes me up about every 2 hours at night when he's hungry. At what agedo babies start sleeping for longer periods when they are breast fed? When will I be able to mix a little rice cereal in with his breast milk?
Thanks, Millie

If so, at what age did they start? And what do you let them have?

I was wondering bc my daughter will be recieveing her 2 month shots today she is 3 months though the doctor told me it would be fine if she was late but they also get shots at four months is it safe to give shots that close together

There is proof to show that their is mercury in these shots and can cause neurological disorders in infants including autism, epilepsy, retardation, etc. I'm not sure whethe I want my son to have it. I am 7 months pregnant and due Dec. 8, 2006. I am really freaking out because my brother and got son has autism and doctors think it's because of the shot they were administered during their 1st days of life. What do yall think?

He is almost 3 weeks old and his nose still looks too wide like it has been smooshed inwards. Both my wife and I have thin noses(not small just thin), so we are wondering where it came from, or if it just got compressed during pregnancy and will pop out. If it is just wide that is fine, he is still beautiful, I just wanted to make sure it is ok.

she used to go to sleep around 10 pm. about a month ago, around 9pm, then a week ago around 8. last night she went to sleep at 6pm! she ate at 4,i thought maybe she wanted a nap before dinner, that she'd be awake at 7, have dinner at 8 and go to back to sleep. instead, she slept until 4:30 this morning!, she was crying but her eyes were closed and she was kicking, like she wanted to roll (i put her to sleep on her back since she was born, recently she learned to roll from back to belly, and last night she slept on her tummy for the first time) i tried to comfort her, lightly rubbed her head and back, she had no fever but she kept crying. since it seamed like she was trying to roll from belly to back, i softly helped her and she started screaming! she looked scared! i panicked and picked her up, i thought she was hungry cause she missed a feeding, i fed her, she went back to sleep, woke up at 9am, had breakfast and went back to sleep! she always looks tired recently, what could this be?

Do you guys ever feel like you've "lost" yourselves? Don't get me worng I LOVE my son and i'm so greatful for him but i feel like i'm going crazy... i feel like ive lost myself and sometimes i feel like i want to do something terrible (not hurt him physically) but like just "runaway". I would never do it but it just pops in my head... Please don't judge me I just want to know if it's normal or if I should ask my doctor about post partem depression... I feel guilty about these things but I do love my son so much that I just don't understand this...

I think my little one is coming down with a cold. I was had a cold and I think she may have caught it- it's not too bad yet but she keeps sneezing and coughing a lot. Anything I can give her to prevent it from getting worse?

I have a 11 1/2 month old who no matter what time he goes to bed always get up at 6:30am every morning, even on the weekends when mommy wants to sleep in. The nights that he goes to bed alot later than usual, you would think he would sleep in longer. As he gets older, will he start sleeping in later?

My little girl is almost 6 weeks old and she woke up this morning with a little bit of a snort (you know, like she is stuffy) and a little sneezy. She's coughed a few times also. She isn't running a fever or anything and is in a good mood, but her brother (3 1/2) just finished treatment for bronchitis so I'm worried that this may be the beginning of that. I just had her at the Dr. last week for a rash and I feel silly bringing her in all the time for nothing, but at the same time I would like to catch any illness early so it doesn't turn severe. What do you think?
