I have a 11 1/2 month old who no matter what time he goes to bed always get up at 6:30am every morning, even on the weekends when mommy wants to sleep in. The nights that he goes to bed alot later than usual, you would think he would sleep in longer. As he gets older, will he start sleeping in later?

My 10 month old wakes up at 7am. Even though I would love to sleep in it helps when she goes to bed between 7:30 - 8pm. If she sleeps later that means she will go to bed later and her schedule for the day will be off. Especially the naps. That's a habit I don't want to start. Good Luck!

It's quite possible that he will start sleeping in as he gets older. My daughter did this. No matter what time I put her to bed she was awake at 6:30 am every morning. There was nothing i could do. that was when she was 6 mths. now she's 14 mths and goes to bed every night by 8:30pm and sleeps until 7:30am somtimes 9am depending on how active she was during the day.

Wow that's late, lol, I get up at 5:30 every day. My hubby is late sleeper - like to 9/10 am. I think everyone's just different. I used to sleep until 7am, but my dog insists on eating/going for a walk at 5:30am, so that's my new wakeup time! He may change later, he may not. Some people are just earlier risers. You'll have to adjust to meet his needs. Good luck to both of you.

my second child was like that she has always been an early riser about 6 or so. now in preschool i am waking her up at 7 and she still wants to sleep. i think it has to do with all the diffrent activities and exersise she is getting. her body is just needing more sleep. but hang in there it can get better. some children however are prone to be early risers. maybe limiting his naps during the day will help.

Probably not. I have learned with all 3 of mine, it doesnt matter how late you put your kids to bed, they still seem to have an internal time clock of gettin up bright and early. Get off your lazy a$$ and take care of your kids in the morning... Just nap when they nap, your not gonna get to sleep in... Nice try

I consider blackout blinds. i could get the colours that roll down (the vinyl ones) and connect velcro to the window physique and to the back of the colour while it truly is down. placed that in the back of his huge-unfold blinds or curtain and he won't see that it truly is getting gentle out. i could additionally get a white noise device or a small container fan to drown out any noises he would hear. It takes a month to form a habit, so make optimistic his recurring is consistent--mattress at 7 pm or 8 pm and while he wakes, do no longer pass in proper away. enable him communicate in mattress. provide your daughter a fan, too, so as that they are plenty extra possibly to sleep by using his noises.

Mine did when they were teenagers. Especially on weekends when we wanted them to help clean the house and do the yard work!
