I have a 5 month old daughter, she will soon be 6 months. She is perfectly healthy and is growing so much. All of a sudden her sleep pattern has changed dramatically. I have a routine with her, she gets a bath, I feed her, rock her for 10 mins, and then put her to bed. In that 10 mins she falls asleep completly, but when I go to put her down, she wakes right back up. This will continue for about 3 hours or more. I continue to rock her she will fall back asleep and then wake up the second I put her down. I will even feed her again and this does not help. Then when I finally put her down she wakes up 3 hours later and the same cycle continues. This all started about a week ago and before that I had no problem putting her to bed. Has someone had the same problem? Can anyone offer advice on what to do? And the worst part about it is she refuses to take a nap during the day. Her doctor is no help. Can someone please help?

I've been breastfeeding exclusivly for 8 weeks. I unfortantly have to go out of town for a few days in about 2 weeks and can not travel with my son. I have been pumping milk to store, however, introducing a bottle is not going so well.

I've been trying to include one bottle a day with regular nursings, but he regects it. I do not want to cancle my trip because my son won't nurse on a bottle, so any hints or websits?

Does anyone know where to get Pediasure (nutritional drink for kids) for less than $9.87 OR where to get coupons for it? Both of my kids are below the fifth percentile in weight and they've been drinking it for the past year and it's starting to break the bank!

I know all babies are different, but I need a good night's sleep, at least 5 hrs. Any suggestions? Yes, he is now on solids, and teething and the doctor says there is no reason he is not sleeping. Just deal with it. Easy enough for him to say.

I like to request to bring home the umbilical cord, because it makes a great snack when you chop it up into small morsels and bread them, and then pop them into the fry daddy.....or just put it in the smoker and presto!!!!! instant cord jerkey, that your friends will love

I am looking for a website on an organization called morgan's first gift. It is out of Findlay Ohio and in memory of Morgan Christine Seedorf. I would like to donate to this charity if I could find a way to do it. They donate new and gently used items to new borns at Findlay's hospitals.

He is 7 months old, he only gets it at night before bed and he doesnt want it much even though she insists. I feel as though he is being forced to try every night even though he eats a little bit of it.I feel that he has gotton the nutrition he needs thus far and the fruits and vegitables plus the doctor proscribed infant vitamins are substantial nutrition for his development. Would it also be wise maybe to just pump from the breast instead of from the breast directly to get the milk for him since he is getting too big for her to hold comfortably? Also he does still get a bit of formula each day as well, as per doctors orders. Any advise would be appreciated, Thank you.

I have a preemi and she's just 2 months.Today she was sitting up and all of a sudden she had snot running down her nose and she had a lot of mucus in her mouth. She wasnt breathing for about 60sec.I was patting her on her back and I got the bulb surenge and I cleaned out her nose it took a minute b/c there was a lot of snot and mucus coming out @ the same time. She finally started breathing after a few suctions from the nose and mouth. She does this about once a week. Her father said she did it w/him an dit was his first time babysitting and it scared the crap outta him and now i see why b/c it scared the crap outta me.It has happened before but never this long or this bad. What is this and what can I do to prevent it.I have nasal drops but her nose always sounds clear. She does sound a little congested but her nose again isnt running.Im afraid she wont gain breath if it keeps happening.I know preemies are different from full term babies.she was 3lb3oz she's now 8lb

I don't feel like my 2 month old eats enough. I switched her to soy milk she's still eating the same she has gastric reflux and the soy is sitting alot better in her stomach. She likes her formula better with rice cereal she drinks the whole bottle. I just don't feel like she's each enough. What are some of the things you did with your newborns? Also, what about they're sleeping? My baby sleeps alot. I don't know why? Is this normal..? What are also some of the things that you've done with your two month old babies

my best friend for many years has basically abandoned me since i got pregnant with my 1sts child. my daughter is almost 1 now and i confronted my friend on why she hasnt been around and why she associate herself with other friends with kids but not me. she confessed that she is jealous and doesnt know how to get over it. i feel she has done things to spite me recently and for her to bring my baby girl into it upsets me... she has lots of friends that have kids, why is she treating me this way, is the friendship worth saving? also she lives around the corner and never visits my daughter and i go out "socially " with her and other friends as often as a new mom can. i dont feel that i have changed and my other friends have all treated me the same as usual. advice please!!!

My favorite niece will have her baptism in two weeks, and her brother assigned to take care of the party favors. Can you guys give me ideas that I can make on my own? Or name of the store where I can buy unique baptismal favors? I am also considering edible favors, gift baskets.. I don't know, i can't decide on this thing, so if you can bombard me with your creative ideas, then it will be really excellent! thanks guys!
