Why can't your wife help with the baby at night? The baby is a month old, not only should she be waking up regularly during the night but it's unhealthy if she doesn't. My oldest daughter always wanted to sleep through from the day she was born so that meant the tables had to turn and I had to wake HER up throughout the night for feedings and diaper changes. People need to understand that their children are not wind up toys that can be brought out for the day then put down at night and forgotten about. I understand you have to work, but your daughter needs her health too.

you just can't. she just can't.
a baby needs to be fed about every 4 hours, regularly.
it is only as weight increases, meaning that autonomy (for food) increases, that a baby can start going for longer periods w/o eating.
doctors commonly say that babies up to the age of 3 months do not "play games" on you (to have company, to be cuddled), so it would be criminal to force a baby below 3 months to go w/o food because one "thinks" that it doesn't need it.
if you are that tired, and don't have any help from your wife (as it seems), then you will have to seek outside help. Maybe someone in the family does not work and can help (a grandmother?). Or else you'd have to hire help, but this is expensive, especially nights of course.

some babies dont sleep thru the night until much older. Feed her right before she goes to bed, burp her good, and in a few weeks try some cereal before she goes to bed. I know its hard, but hang in there, one day she will surprise you and sleep, i was fortunate all my kids slept thru the night by 6 weeks old. good luck

Well - what I used to do was take the baby in the car for a ride. It used to work for me.
