My fourth baby is 71/2 months old and still does not sleep through the night. My oldest didn't until 18 months, my second did at 3 weeks and my 3rd did at 4 weeks. Now who knows when yours will. You can try whatever you like, but ultimately he will only when he is ready too.. I am in the same boat as you! Hopefully they both will soon for OUR sanity!!! LOL Good luck hon!

My son is still up every 3-4 hours. Hes 6 1/2 months old. My first was sleeping through the night 10-12 hours at 8 weeks old. I know what you're going through!
I would suggest teething tablets and infant Motrin right before bed. My kids' pediatrician recommends Motrin at night because its lasts longer.

Rice cereal does work wonders. Does your son wake up and stay up? Does he go to day care. Your son my be getting to much activity during the day and that can disrupt his sleep cycle. Make sure every day, he has time with just him and you when it is quiet and calm, no toys, no distraction. And just talk to him calmly, love on him, soothe him. Then give him a nice warm bath with some night time bubbles. If he is waking up because he is hungry, try the rice cereal. If he is waking up because his diaper is not keeping him dry, try different diapers. Dry bums help keep babies asleep too

Try a lavender and chamomile bath, followed by a bed time bottle with cereal. Also cut back on the afternoon nap a little bit. Hope this helps.

I know how you feel. I remember when I got 3 hours sleep one night when my baby was about 2mo. That was such a big deal to me. A whole 3 hours sleep without waking up!
Try this website, there may be something on there that will help. It's 31 ways to get your to baby sleep, and stay asleep, or something like that.

he may be more active then his siblings and need to use more energy to fall into a deep sleep. Try taking him out and letting him play in the grass. If he can sit up. give him a small ball and teach him to throw it, his siblings will have lots of fun "fetching" it for him.

Try rice cereal in his night time bottle. You'll need a special nipple (we used variable flow for our Avent bottles).
