Pampers has the cheaper Baby Dry line and the more high-end Swaddlers/Cruisers line. The Swaddlers are for sizes Preemie, Newborn, 1, and 2. The Cruisers are for sizes 3, 4, 5, and 6. When you switch to the ones that don't have tabs but pull on like underware they are called Easy Ups and are sized 4T, 5T, 6T.

as a new mom i have found that pampers swaddlers to work best for my baby - i have used both the normal pampers and the swaddlers and what i have found the difference to be is that the swaddlers are gentler and softer on baby's bottom as well they are much more absorbent. Swaddlers also have stretch so they are easier to pull more snuggly around baby.

Size. The swaddlers are for newborns up to 12-14lbs?I used them for my 1year old and thought they were a great diaper.I would highly recommend them.Never used the cruisers but they are for babies that are active and crawling and are made to prevent leaks.Hope this helps. Experienced mom of 6

Swaddlers is for new borns then you move to cruisers for when the baby starts to move more. since babies start to move at different stages, you can find the same size in both. which ever one seems to fit best for your child is what you should choose.

I think swaddlers are more for newborns, and cruisers are for babies that are active , crawling, walking, more active than new borns are.
hope this helps!

Swaddlers are for newborns and they are Very small, but i use them for my baby who is now four weeks old and still in them, and THEY ARE GREAT because they dont leak do not fall apart easily (The tape part I mean) and can absorb a lot of poop.

cruisers are for babies who move around, (crawl). And swaddlers are for babys who still get held and are not ready for any activities.
