I know this older women who is pregnant and she is 49 by the time she has her baby she will be 50. She is upset with me because I do not agree that she has a baby that old.. She said that I am negative and she does not want to talk to me anymore..

I feel bad because I was not trying to hurt her by telling her that it's wrong. She wants me to be more supportive and I am a honest person and I gave her my true opinion and she went nuts... Why would she asks me for my true opinion and get so uspet? Now we are not talking... What should I do? Thank You for reading....

I know you have been bashed repeatedly but I want to know why formula feeding is better than breastfeeding in your opinion. I have been a huge beyotch to formula feeders so I want to understand why formula is ok and why you shouldn't be judged. If I can get a good educated reason why you formula fed (a reason that I can't find a solution for) and unless you have no breasts, please enlighten me since I feel every mother can breastfeed. I want to understand why a mother wouldn't want to give her baby the best..i just don't get it. Educate me please.

I just started giving my 6 month old baby food and rice cereal. I find that no matter how careful I try to be, he has food all over his clothing and under his neck rolls. I use a big plastic bib, but the food still seems to make it's way around his neck. Any ideas on how to make this less messy or is this just the way it is?

My son is 13 months old. For some reason he likes to pull out CHUNKS of his hair, and then roll it on his hand with his fingers while he sucks his thumb! I don't know why he does it, or how to get him to stop??? He is causing big bald spots on his head! Normally I would think it was a regression thing, like a nervious thing, but I think he has a pretty relaxed life, we don't yell, or hit, or anything like that, and he has lots of people around who love him.

My daughter is 7 months old & I have been breastfeeding since birth - She is now on solids & nurses about 3 to 5 times a day -
PLEASE READ word 4 word
Anyway 2 days ago I had a clogged milk duct that finally went away but now I have red bumps on my nipples and it is making nursing difficult - I cant find any info on what it could be - I'm not sure if the clogged duct caused the bumps -but if it did I don’t know why I have bumps on both nipples since only one breast was clogged - I'm concerned that the bumps could possibly be contagious since my daughter is exposed to them when she nurses-Also my daughter has developed a very bad diaper rash today-with the same type of bumps -or similar ones - -could this just be coincidence -or is it related ??
It doesn't seem like a typical diaper rash to me but I could just be over-reacting- I've been treating it -but if it gets worse I'll be taking her to the Dr- should I tell him about the bumps that I have?
What could this be What can I do?

ok, mildly deformed might be a bit of an understatement. based on what i saw of the sonogram, he's actually GROTESQUELY deformed. should we give him a name that reflects the fact that he has a horn-like apendage protruding from his abdomen, or should we just give him an ordinary name in order to avoid drawing attention to the fact that his brain is actually on the outside of his skull, and his mouth is positioned vertically, on the side of his neck?
