why do sexually immature males (0-13ish) get erections before they are fertile?

because of the hormone testosterone it will make it hard and also when they need to pee really bad it will get hard and stay that way until they pee.

and girls sometimes start menstruating at 8 years of age maybe sooner.

An erection is caused by blood flow to the penis, no fertility required! They cannot have babies or get a girl pregnant yet but they can still get hard

Erections are actually a response of the penis relaxing. It is part of blood flow and they body working as it is intended to, it has nothing to do with fertility (which is the boy's ability to produce sperm)

I belive guys get stiff from the day they are born, there is no controling it. i remember getting them when i was in infant school and not uderstanding them. but it wasnt till i was a preteen that in got them and enjoyed them ;)
