very normal.. his/her body is cooling down nad the redness in their face is now fading as the blood pressure is reducing.
I would say that the baby was strained during the hiccups and it's now cooling down.. nothing to worry about.
(just read what others posted... I*m a first aider and I have three kids of my... all three have experienced hot flushes during vomitting... let alone with hiccups... nothign to go to Doc with just yet... unless they go blue in the face and stay blue... that means no oxygen is getting to brain.... other than that... make sure they are not choking... remove any vomit from mouth and calm baby down and wrap in nice fleece balnky to cuddle up to... awwwwww.

I have two boys who vomited on a regular basis when they were very small. It is quite a normal reaction for the body to react like this,it is to prefent them from overheating and going into spasm whilst vomiting, you would have more to worry about if the body didnt react like this and stayed over heated as there is a likelyhood in these events that a child may choke.
I hope this helps out and puts your mind at rest.

If you position the baby a little more upright when feeding it'll preven hiccups.
Also, when the face gets cold, it's just the bodies way of cooling down...it is also a sign of dehydration. Fill a bottle with lukewarm water (and some fructose powder if you've got it at a store near you) and give it to baby....skip the baby's next meal and give them more of the water.
Then resume the meals and don't forget to burp!!!
