I definitely like both of those names! How about Aubrey for the first name and Savannah for the middle name? Aubrey Savannah...that sounds good!!!

My daughter's name is Savannah! She is seven months old. We LOVE the name - it was the only thing that we could agree on...I actually considered Aubrey too, but my hubbie did not like it. He didnt think it was mature enough sounding (like when she got older, if she wanted to be a judge, an attorney, or a doctor, no one would take her seriously with a name like Aubrey)...he thought it was too little girly sounding. So, we went with Savannah because it sounded more respectable and mature for a grown woman. I think both names are beautiful! Good luck!

I like the name Savannah, but not Aubrey. I would go with Savannah for sure out of those 2 names. I like the names Sable and Bianca for girls.

Savannah is okay... but it could sound a little bit tarty once she grows up. Do you think you'll still love your daughter's name when she's forty? Aubrey = no. My mother had a boyfriend called Aubrey... PLEASE don't choose it, I just can't imagine a gorgeous little girl with the name "Aubrey". I like the idea that you don't want a mainstream, generic name for your daughter though - my name is Astrid... it is Scandinavian/Old Norse and means divine strength or divine beauty... I love it. I think my parents thought I might get flack because of having a name that is uncommon - I live in Australia, by the way - but I don't, I have plenty of friends. Please make sure you don't choose a "stripper name" or make up your own spelling... for example, Aieshayah = Aisha. The names I really hate are "hip hop" names such as Daquon... eurgh. But that's just me. Do you like the name Alira? I think it's nice.... anyway, good luck.

Not Aubrey. I know too many guys named Aubrey. Pick a girl's name that won't leave people having to guess your child's gender. Of these two names, Savannah is better, although it's a bit overused.

Savannah is a pretty name, ( Savanna ) Old Spanish meaning " from the open plain ". ( Sarah ) is the short form of the name. Which will be helpful to your child when she starts school. Sarah is easy to learn and later she can grasp the longer form.
Other Names that are interesting are:
Shoshannah; from the Hebrew for " Rose " ( Shoshana ; Shosha )
Seraphina From Hebrew for " Afire " or " Angel ". This exotic name can be shortened to " Sara ", which is good also.
I love names, finding out the meanings and spellings, namesakes all of that. My neice is having a baby and I was thinking about her name which is " Victoria " ( Ginger ) was what she was called through school. Another pretty name.
Anyway Congratulation on your new one on the way. God Bless.

Aubrey is a mans name.Savannah is nice.I wish some people would think carefully before they name their child. Some of these names sound soooo cute when they are little, but think, they have to carry that name with them through school, and maybe for the rest of their lives.

well, look at it this way, there are multiple adult actresses with the name Savannah, and Aubrey, while cool, could be mistaken entirely too often for Audrey. just thoughts. Kids are mean.
