a natural remedy would be pure aloe.
a lotion to use for that would be st. ives, they have an intense moisturizer that is great for stretch marks.
i used it and my skin looks wonderful!

Unfortunately, nothing will "eliminate" stretchmarks, not even cocoa butter. The only thing any cream can do is try and fade the skin of the stretch mark so it is not so obvious. Creams rich with vitamin E are good. One thing you could try is to buy vitamin E oil caplets, what you need to do is thoroughly clean the area with warm water everyday (after a shower is best), break open the caplets and rub the oil into the marks, letting the oil soak in. Do this everday and you should see results in a few weeks.

unfotunatly stretch marks are genetic so if your mom had them you probaly will too! the best thing to do is try to be fit especially around the stomach area before you get pregnant. Cocoa butter, aloe, vitamin e will help with the strech marks getting dry or itchy but once you get them there is not much you can do until you can do sit ups. Just remember they are badges of motherhood, dont be embarassed by them be proud that you created life. Hope this helps

I was huge when I was pregnant, especially for me being so petite. I have 1 stretch mark though! I used Nut Butter and Cocoa Butter. I used them about 4-5 times a day.

I tried everything ( baby oil, cocoa butter, vit.E...)during pregnancy, then after. nothing worked. I believe it has a lot to do with skin type and heredity. However at this point, I like the bondo idea for myself, as I can't ever manage to find the Mederma at the store. (I would probably consider whether you have already had the baby or not) I would ask your Dr. before using a "restorative" thing if still pregnant. Good Luck!

Cocoa butter is good for helping prevent stretch marks.
To get rid of them?
You can try some vitamin E oil, when you go to the drug store, get some of the gel capsules with the oil,
Break them open and rub on your marks.
It will NOT get rid of them, unfortunatly scars and stretch marks can not be gotten rid of without serious cosmetic surgery.
The vitamin E oil will help make them less noticable.

Yes, vitamin E . You can get in gel caps. use a safety pin to open the gel cap and apply the liquid vitamin E to your stretch marks. You have to do it everyday, but after several weeks you should see a big difference.
